Don't think the Left doesn't want this in the USA

Because if they can just kill you off, they don't have to defend themselves any more.

Since last year, Canadian law, in all its majesty, has allowed both the rich as well as the poor to kill themselves if they are too poor to continue living with dignity. In fact, the ever-generous Canadian state will even pay for their deaths. What it will not do is spend money to allow them to live instead of killing themselves.

Part of the reason the Left is slavering for "universal" health care is because when the government controls your health care, they can control YOU.  Oh, you have the wrong ideas about the government's role?  Gosh, it looks like we'll have to push your cancer treatment back a few months.  Ooopsie, it's too far gone now.  So sad!  I guess you'll just have to die.  Here, let us help you, before you cost too much.

The government is a band of criminals, perverts, Marxists of every stripe, thugs, goons and incompetent shitbags.  There is absolutely no reason to hand over any decision to them.

Dave, I have a friend in Ontario who was a supporter of the trucker's revolt there. We converse regularly by Farcebook messenger.

I asked her about this and she said it was true. In addition their "wonderful" state medical care is nothing of the kind. Elective surgery fugaboutit. Emergency surgery - maybe. Palliative care - uh yeah. In other words, their entire medical system is based upon cost - EXCLUSIVELY. If it costs too much no soup for you!

Trudope and his lackeys need to be removed but, their state-owned CBC covers for him so much - even more so than here that many people think things are just fine or the CBC would tell them so.

We could go into the treatment of any opponent to ANY policy of the Trudope regime but, it sounds too much like an evil novel. You can bet if we didn't have the second amendment things would a LOT different here too.

Buy guns and ammo......LOTS!

I learned all I needed to know about Canadian health care when I worked at the hospital in Seattle. Plenty of Canucks coming down to get actual care, paying out of pocket. The stories they told....
