BTW - my hamstring injury turned out to be piriformis syndrome. I figured it out after about two weeks of misery. After another two weeks I finally saw my doctor for some muscle relaxers which did zip. I'm also going to PT and after a month can finally sleep lying down in bed instead of slumped on the dining room table. It's a real "pain in the ass" for real!!!!
I've been following your medical journey on your blog. Piriformis Syndrome. Also known as "The Husband Syndrome", because we're such a pain the ass. Glad to hear you're doing better! And muscle relaxers do nothing for me, either.
Dad, once we got him out of North Idaho Advanced Care Hospital, is doing better. NIACH seemed intent on essentially neglecting him to death. My brother and I have been doing tag-team duties out at the parent's place, making sure that all the jobs that have to be done in the summer get done. Firewood, clearing brush, cleaning out the barn(s), tractor maintenance, etc. Trying to get three months worth of work done in two weeks. This is the first time I've come back from leave and people look at me weird. "Damn Dave, you lost weight! Did you go on a starvation diet or something?" I'll be back up there sometime in August.
