Professor Yitzhak Ben Israel concludes in his analysis summary paper that the data from the past 50 days indicates that the closure policies of the quarantine countries can be replaced by more moderate social distancing policies. The numbers simply do not support quarantine or economic closure.
We might not have people lying to us. But we most certainly have panicked politicians destroying the economy for fear that they might lose their jobs. And the "experts" have confirmed once again that if "X" is an unknown quantity, and a "spurt" is a drip of water under pressure, then an "expert" is an unknown drip under pressure.

In what way does this surprise you? To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing this stupidity go a few more months; really start pissing people off. Then, when the actual data leaks out and the populace realizes they've been played, perhaps we can get a few of these idiots replaced.
Brother, I don't think we can get the idiots replaced. If we do, they'll just be replaced with more idiots. The idiots are in charge. The lunatics are running the asylum.
