Just a couple of random thoughts - there doesn't need to be a standing ovation every thirty seconds, folks. Although, while it was somewhat annoying to watch on TV, it had to be driving the Donks absolutely crazy. So, eh.
Although maybe the Republicans were just making up for the Donks sitting on their hands, while Trump listed off accomplishment after accomplishment. The Democrats couldn't even clap for a little girl getting a scholarship for a school of her choice. Rashida Tlib and Ilhan "Omar" Nur couldn't bother to clap for the last Tuskeegee Airman. Democrats really do hate America, and they hate Normal Americans.
And of course, in a move that was as classless as it was tone-deaf, Granny Rictus McBotox, San Fran Nan, the Botoxed Bitch of the Bay Area, ripped up her copy of Trump's speech on live TV.
I did notice at one point that as several Donk women stood to clap for something, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz ran over to scold them and tell them to sit back down. The Democrat's loathing for American success is palpable.
Trump's guests were spot on. And the Democrats hatred of Trump's guests was almost a physical object.
Anyways, back to the salt mines.

Sorry, that was not ,"her" copy of the speech. It is generally signed by the President, and is the copy for the House,(just as the copy given to Vice President Pence is the copy for the Senate). Both copies are property of the Government and thies respective Houses and are covered under Official Records.
Destroying them is covered under Federal law.
Dennis the librarian shusher
It was a good speech and hit the mark. I found it to be clear and forward thinking. The dems looked like they all had the same taco stand gas bubble.
Nancy will always be remembered for being opposition rather than a doer, even more for the destruction of the party.
I found it much more comical than upsetting
Dennis has it precisely. The Constitution mandates that the President shall "from time to time" deliver a report on the State of the Union to the House. The copy given to Pence does not meet that requirement, as he is President of the Senate, it is the copy given to the Speaker that fulfills that Constitutionally-mandated duty, and it was THAT copy that Granny McRictus tore up in her on-air temper tantrum.
The relevant law is US Code, Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 101, Section 2071
Paragraph (a): "Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both."
Paragraph (b): "Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term 'office' does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the Armed Forces of the United States." (relevant part bolded
I expect that Granny Rictus McWinebox will face punishment for her crime just as soon as the DOJ gets done prosecuting Hillary Felonia Von Pantsuit for her crimes.
In other words, I won't be holding my breath.
