A little history
I used to live on the top of this hill in Spokane.
And that's the easy part of the hill. There's sections that you don't even walk on if you get a winter storm, because you won't stop sliding for about a mile.
I lived in Coeur d'Alene for a good long while, graduated from Cd'A High School. I lived in Spokane right before I enlisted in the Army, just off of Monroe behind Deaconess Medical Center. My parents and various other members of my extended family still live in the area.
So every time I see something in the news from the Inland Empire, I get a little homesick. Even if it's a video of cars sliding down South Hill.

I watched that video a few days ago and was wondering why year after year the citizens of Spokane keep heading down Freya and Thor.
How long did you live in Spokane?? (I'm in Post Falls and worked for years at the Costco in Spokane.)
