We've rented a house instead of getting a hotel. The price is actually less than we'd pay for a hotel, we all have separate rooms, and it's a HELL of a lot more comfortable.
And I think this house was built before Idaho even became a state. Beautiful.

I've done that quite a few times. If you look around and do some research, you can find a house or condo cheaper than a hotel more times than not. It sure does make for a better trip when you have separate rooms and a full kitchen. I usually go to VRBO.com and have had good luck with them. Have fun on the vacation.
