The same people who told us to appreciate saving $0.16 on our July 4th BBQs last summer are now taking the official position there is no massive food inflation. [DATA HERE]
Those skyrocketing prices you think you see at the grocery store are not real. Those announcements of forecasted price increases by the food producers, well, those are not real either. So sayeth the United States Dept of Agriculture (USDA).
Yeah, it's not like you can just walk into your grocery store and figure out that they're lying, right? This is gaslighting. Straight up gaslighting. The Marxist shitbags in charge are going to keep lying, and their tools and propaganda organs in the press will cover for them and regurgitate their lies.
Every time I hear someone talk about how food is getting more expensive, I'm going to remind them that the government insists that there's no inflation, so all their money must just be vanishing into thin air. You can go read the actual numbers in the linked post. Everything you eat has gone up dramatically in cost. If this keeps up, you'll be lucky to eat oatmeal with a little sugar in a year.
But the government says there's no inflation.
Why am I reminded of "The people's ration of rice is increased from 30 pounds a month to 20 pounds a month"?
