You can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once. - Robert A. Heinlein -

On the road again
Hell, I told you a while ago that I was going to be busier than a one-armed paper hanger! As it stands right now, I head out, work, come home in time for my sweet, wonderful, loving wife to feed me dinner, and then crash.
So now I ramp it up to 11 for the next three weeks. YEE HAW! By the way, did you know that if you accumulate enough frequent flyer miles that you'll start getting upgraded automatically? Neither did I, until this current position made my fly all over 19 different states at least twice a month. It started out as "Priority Access", meaning I could board first. Yeah! The last flight back from Ft. Lewis I was put in business class. YEAH! I never knew a seat could recline that far on a plane! And hell, I had FOOTROOM!
I was livin' high on the hog. And this will add... oh, I dunno how many more miles, and to be quite honest I'm too lazy to look it up. But that's OK, because I'm just babbling right now and I need more alcohol.
Mmmmmm. Beer. New Glarus. If you're ever in Wisconsin, find beer from the New Glarus Brewing Company. Or the Sand Creek Brewing Company. It's sooooooooooo good.
Where was I? Oh yes. Beer. I'm off to drink one, and then I'll be getting on a plane early tomorrow. I'll see you all when I get back.

The Democrat Propaganda Machine
Doesn't seem to be doing so well..... They either need to be honest and admit that they're nothing more than whores and harlots for the Democrat American Communist Party, or they can continue to die. Either way, I really don't care. But if they go under, I'll be more than happy to piss on their graves.
I mean, gosh, who wouldn't want to watch absolute crap like this? When supposed objective journalists all jump on a chance to call hundreds of thousands of Americans "teabaggers"..... with all reference material used.... let 'em die.
By the way - the CNN propaganda whore who got all confrontational at the Tea Party in Chicago? I guess she was upset that some guy had a sign calling Obama a fascist. But the very same little twit had no problem with President Bush being called Hitler or Satan.
CNN can kiss my ass, and I hope it dies a painful death while all the people employed there get laid off, lose their houses, and end up living on the streets turning tricks just to live. They've already prostituted themselves out for theDemocrat American Communist Party, so it wouldn't be much of a change.

The more I think about it
The more pissed off I get about the Department of Homeland Insecurity labeling me as a right wing extremist.
As for JanetReno Nepolitano's "apology"....
As for Janet
“To the extent veterans read it as an accusation … an apology is owed.”Bite me, you overpaid partisan hack. You owe an apology to everyone who actually understands the Constitution of the United States, the document that a communist like yourself loathes to the depths of your soul.

On Obama's visit to the troops
All those cheering troops at Obama's visit?
Pre-screened for maximum photo-op usage.
Democrat American Communist Party cares about the military is when they can use them as a photo opportunity. And as much as it pains me to say it, my fellow brothers and sisters in arms just got used by a military-loathing piece of shit. Used like a ten-dollar whore, and they're happy about it.
Gah.
Anyone get a chance to go to a Tea Party in your area?
Pre-screened for maximum photo-op usage.
I've said it before, I'll say it again - the only time the“We were pre-screened, asked by officials “Who voted for Obama?”, and then those who raised their hands were shuffled to the front of the receiving line. They even handed out digital cameras and asked them to hold them up.”
Take a look at the picture at AP and notice all the cameras are the same models? Coincidence? I think not.
Gah.
Anyone get a chance to go to a Tea Party in your area?
It's BUY A GUN DAY!
Also known as "Tea Party Day". And "Tax Day".
Luckily, we did our taxes months ago. I don't know if buying a gun is going to happen today for me. I tried to get my hands on a Winchester 30-30, but it had already been sold. And since I have to work all day, the Tea Party isn't going to happen.
See, this is the problem with being conservative. While liberals are out there, sucking off the government teat and protesting at the drop of a hat, conservatives are out paying the bills, for themselves AND the liberal parasites, which means that we can't just march out and protest any time we feel like it.
We're getting screwed.
And if there's anyone out there in Wisconsin with a lever action 30-30 for around $200 (+ or -), let me know. I'm willing to drive to pick it up. It doesn't have to be a Winchester. Marlins are just fine. It's the 30-30 I care about.
Random thought here - are the Tea Parties going to be considered "Right-Wing Extremists" by the Department of Homeland Insecurity now?

Obama anounces War on America
The enemy is US : Homeland Security on guard for 'right-wing extremists'
Odd how domestic Jihadists, who have actually carried out almost 100 attacks in the last 8 years, aren't a "threat" worth worrying about.
It's almost like... Barack Hussein Obama has an agenda or something.

A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats.Veterans are a threat... Code Pink radicals who gave money to terrorists? Not so much.

And yet another reason
Why I don't buy newspapers. Let them all die. Let them all die the death they've earned for themselves.
Don't buy any bullshit from the drive-by media. "Oh, we're just trying to be objective and tell the story like it is!" Bullshit. They know exactly what they're doing.
The press in America is just another propaganda wing for theDemocrat American Communist Party. Period. End of story. Every time a newspaper goes down, the baby Jesus smiles.

Good going Gov
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius vetoed building 2 new coal generated power plants in Kansas because her state would barely benefit from it. Out of 1400 megawatts only 200 would stay in Kansas, the rest would be exported to Texas and Colorado.
Yes at this time with the current administration I say burn it if you like. But, I have also lived in states that have been forced to export energy to California which raised the cost for the inhabitants of said states.

“I vetoed that legislation because while the rest of the country was trying to reduce greenhouse emissions, Kansas would be creating massive new emissions for power we don’t need. Additionally, it appeared that federal legislation that would penalize new carbon dioxide emissions was on the horizon leaving Kansans vulnerable for years to come.
and we love Africa too
MOGADISHU, Somalia —Donald M. Payne, a New Jersey congressman and the chairman of the House sub-committee on Africa, narrowly escaped a mortar attack on Monday as he was ending a quick and rare visit to Somalia’s bullet-ridden capital. Just a day after American military snipers killed three Somali pirates and freed a kidnapped sea captain, eliciting vows of revenge from pirates and other Somalis, several mortars exploded in the vicinity of Mr. Payne’s plane as it was taking off from Mogadishu’s airport for Nairobi, Kenya. At least 10 civilians were wounded in the explosions. The congressman was unhurt and it was unclear if insurgents who routinely shell the airport were trying to hit his plane or simply unleashing another assault on the city’s main lifeline.
unicorns farting rainbows
The United States Monday said it welcomed a conciliatory Iranian statement about possible new talks with world powers on its nuclear program. But the State Department says it remains skeptical that Iran's nuclear program is peaceful.
need I say more?
Oh yeah...
Last week, the Obama administration said it was ready to take full part in the big power dialogue with Iran, breaking with the Bush administration which had insisted that Iran first suspend uranium enrichment.
We are now free to travel to Cuba
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is allowing Americans to make unlimited transfers of money and visits to relatives in Cuba and easing other restrictions Monday, ushering in a new era of openness toward the island nation ruled by communists for 50 years.
But seriously who would want to it is still under Communist rule?
Do you have a half-hour to spare?
Then might I suggest that you go read Kevin Baker's rebuttal to James Kelly, debating the subject of gun control.
It's a doozy. But as always with Mr. Baker, it's backed up with more facts than you can shake a stick at, and worth every minute of your time.

Good news
One American saved, three Somali pirates finally attain "good" (i.e. ambient temperature) status.
As a side note - the decision to take the pirates out came from the Captain of the US Navy ship. I truly hope he keeps his job, considering the mentality of the current Administration.
UPDATE: Big Dick has part of the transcript of Obama's speech regarding the pirates meeting their maker.
What a classless fuck. What a whiney, sniveling piece of shit. I can't ever remember Bush finger-pointing at Clinton like this, and Clinton left things in far worse condition than Bush did.
Gawd, what a sad, little pathetic man Obama is.
Navy SEAL snipers on the fantail of a destroyer cut down three Somali pirates in a lifeboat and rescued an American sea captain on Easter Sunday. The surprise nighttime assault in choppy seas ended a five-day standoff between a team of rogue gunmen and the world's most powerful military. It's about time. And it's far PAST time for the US to start blasting the pirates right out of the water. This isn't a movie. Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are not cruising the waters off the coast of Africa.
