Obamacare in four sentances

Over ten thousand pages of horrible legislation, condensed down into four easily understood sentences.

  1. In order to insure the uninsured, we first have to uninsure the insured.
  2. Next, we require the newly uninsured to be re-insured.
  3. To re-insure the newly uninsured, they are required to pay extra charges to be re-insured.
  4. The extra charges are required so that the original insured, who became uninsured, and then became re-insured, can pay enough extra so that the original uninsured can be insured, which will be free of charge to them.

It doesn't go into just how awful the law truly is, but there's the bare bones of it.

Have you ever been a "manspreader"?

Hell yes I manspread.  I've manspread in a fucking KILT.  That I was wearing PROPERLY REGIMENTAL, baby!

In all seriousness, the fact that these people had to create "man-spreading" to futher their narrative shows just how little they truly have to bitch about.

Manspreading is an example of what college intellectuals call a "microaggression". That simply means you may not know that you are oppressing the person next to you. The effect is to make innocent people even less willing to be friendly and engage others for fear it will turn into a bad scene of the offended party screaming, crying and/or threatening legal action. The 1990s sitcom Seinfeld used to poke fun at such behavior with the perpetually offended character Elaine Benes. Little did the writers know that Elaine would be the voice of a new generation.

If some guy tells me to stop manspreading, I'm going to tell him to butch up, eat a fucking steak, and grow some balls.

So it's Oregon vs. Ohio State for the Championship

Boy, I bet there's a lot of bookies making out like bandits right now.  Glad to see the Pac-12 (I still want to call it the Pac-10) represented.

Florida State showed that their season wasn't quite the championship run they thought it was.  Before the game had started, I told someone that if Florida State had to play in either the SEC or the Pac-12, they'd be a 6-6 team.  Their QB made one major error throughout the game, but the rest of the team couldn't hold on to the ball if their lives depended on it.

Taking someone running this morning, then helping to build shelves at church.  First half of the day will hopefully be away from any computer.  Second half as well.

2015

I hope everybody had a safe New Year's Eve.

Our dogs were going berzerk over the fireworks and gunfire last night, so I can't say I had the most restful night of sleep, but compared to previous boozy NYE I can say it was much better.

Time to go running!

New Year's Eve

Dude, I'll be in bed.  There's nothing like going for a run the morning after a big party holiday.  The roads are empty.  Nobody on the trails.  No cops out trying to write a ticket for having dogs off-leash. Only the few hard-core runners, who nod at each other if we even see another person at all.

There's no traffic noise.  Very little air traffic noise.  Most everybody is at home, in bed, with a hang-over.

It's an awesome time to go running.  Same with July 5th.

So I have no real want or need to stay up till midnight.  I'll be awake at 6, strapping my shoes on and heading out the door.

Big story blows up into nothing

So the hit on Rep. Scalise, that he spoke to a racist group, that he associated with racists, that was supposed to blow the GOP into smithereens.....

Yeah, maybe not so much.

Expect more of this crap over the next two years as the Media Palace Guard does everything in it's power to protect their God and King Obama.  This wasn't a mistake, this was a deliberate attack using fake "news" as a weapon.

Mandatory Gruber mention

In 2009, the architect of Obamacare admitted that there were no cost controls and it was not affordable.

At this point, I'm thinking that membership in the Democrat Party amounts to sedition and treason.

CNN's wet dream

So a CNN poll has Jeb Bush up by 10 points in the GOP field.

1 - it's CNN.  Who did they poll, all those people stuck at an airport?  Because that's their main audience right now.

2 - nobody else has thrown their name in the ring, so Jeb Bush is up 10 points against.....  a random collection of names.  So he's only up 10 points against speculation and rumors.  That doesn't bode will for his candidacy, thank goodness.

Wait, what?

Doonesbury is still in print?  He's just a more syndicated version of Tom Tomorrow, with less drool and spittle.

Morons gonna moron

So a bunch of protesters showed up at Hollywood and Highland on Saturday night, trying to do their Ferguson/Garner thing and block traffic.  They burned an American flag right in the middle of the street, stretched across the crosswalk, held hands and generally acted like the brainless morons they are.  The usual "Fuck the Cops" attitude was on display.

Someone apparently wasn't down with the struggle, because he tried to force his way through the line with his car.  Which resulted in someone banging on his hood, which THEN resulted in this dude hauling ass away, right THROUGH the idiots in the crosswalk.

I watched the video.  Best thing I've seen come out of Hollywood in a while.

Here's the twitter feed of one brainless moonbat, named "Cassandra".  Cassandra claims to be an "Activist who commits random acts of journalism".  She's also really good at showing off her boobs, because "GRRL POWER" or something like that.  And, if you peruse her feed, you'll see that she has drank so much of the liberal kool-aide that normal free thought is beyond her.  However, she did post that video of the dude getting run over, so I can at least thank her for that part of my evening.  She's also a great indicator of the kind of mental power these protests can attract - mental power so low that I doubt she could even get a flickering incandescent bulb to light up over her head.  It's more like a match that won't light.

Yeah, I'm a little off this morning.  Haven't had coffee.  Still need to take the dogs running.  They're snoring on the couch next to me right now.

UPDATE:  Ok now - run completed, dogs are happy, coffee is made.

So, regarding the brain-dead moron who blocks roads for fun...  let's call him "Speedbump" for short. Anyways, after Speedbump got himself run over by jumping on a car and hitting it while the driver (who probably rightly feared for his life) was contemplating his next action, the protesters who were just seconds ago calling the police all kinds of names, stirring up shit, burning US flags and being various flavours of assholes all the sudden started calling 9-1-1.  While cops were standing right there, trying to keep protesters from getting themselves killed.

Savor the irony.  The protesters, who were protesting cops, get a little taste of their own medicine, and then try to call the cops.

And then the protesters try to whine about how the cops weren't doing their job.

SAVOR THE IRONY!

In the mean time, I want to try to track down that driver and send him a thank-you letter.
