Last week, on Memorial Day, the Commander-in-Chief ducked out early to play Golf.
The media didn't cover that slight... even though they themselves were slighted by being locked out from that event.

On the Road again
I'm heading out tomorrow for yet another fun week in parts heretofore unnamed. Yay me!
My poor wife.......
My poor wife.......
And since I'm scrounging today...
I done stole this one from the Curmudgeon, who links to The Liberty Zone. So, am I stealing what he rightfully stole? Meh. It's too good to pass up.
I would pay good money to see Sotomayor asked that question on National television.
If I, as a while girl, proudly billed myself as a member of a group called "The Race" that promotes special privileges for white folks and said publicly that a "wise white woman with the richness of her experiences ...would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a black/Latino/(insert minority of the day here) male who hasn’t lived that life," would you all call me a racist?
I would pay good money to see Sotomayor asked that question on National television.
I stole it from Bruce
But this is just PART ONE. If you want to see PART TWO, you'll have to go over to his place.
I never knew the 1968 gun control laws were copied from Hiter's Nazi gun control. But I'm not surprised.

Banging my head against the wall
Hot Air has a link up to a "moderate conservative", who voted for Obama, and is now having second thoughts.
I'm twisting myself in half here. On one hand, it's wonderful that this person has seen the negative consequences of her actions. On the other hand, if she voted for Obama, just how conservative could she be?
I can only hope that this country survives the next three and a half years. But I don't think it will. The free country I knew and loved is gone, and I'm more than a little afraid at what will be replacing it.

I'm trying to not go over the edge here, but if you voted for Obama and didn't expect a full on turn towards Marxism, especially with a Communist Controlled Congress, then you were, quite up front and honestly, ignorant as all hell. The fact that you now recognize that voting for Obama was a mistake is a step in the right direction. But it's only a step. You MUST EDUCATE YOURSELF. Because not all the enemies of America come dressed in a tan leisure suit with Elvis glasses and big hair. Some of them come dressed in a suit and a smile, promising Hope and Change.
It seems like the president's image is unraveling in recent months and we're getting a look at the real Obama underneath the PR, razzle, dazzle veneer he sports so well. I think Americans are growing weary of the sparkle, shine and high-spending policies this president is selling and want to see something more. Every week he is on TV holding a press conference for this or that announcement on funding, bailouts or programs to expand government exponentially. As my father exclaimed recently, "when does he have time to run the country, if he's on television everyday." This is a question to be pondered. Team Obama may have won the presidency through an innovative public relations campaign but winning over the confidence of Americans and setting the country on the right course will require careful thought, temperance and bipartisan collaboration.

Hey Obamabots
Tell me again how your Liberal Lord and Messiah was going to make the world love us again?
Because snubbing the Queen of England on the commemoration of the D-Day landings? Not a good idea. Especially when she was actually serving in uniform during WWII.
Obama the Fumbling Dipshit strikes again! Anyone who voted for this amateurish fuckwit needs to be sterilized so that they can't pass their stupidity onto future generations.

Good Guys, Finishing First, etc.
Need a cookbook? How about a cookbook written by a real man, for real families?
Ladies and gents, I present to you Recipes for REAL Men. Now accepting pre-orders. Or any orders, actually. And it's for a good cause. For those of you who don't know Chris and Melody Byrne, they're fighting an international child custody battle against a real bastard, and they need the money to continue fighting the good fight.
Go. Get a cookbook. Spread the wealth.

I like Fox News
But once the actual news goes offline, and the commentators start up, I tend to just shut it off. Why? Because Bill O'Reilly makes my IQ drop.
I think the only real commentator I can deal with from Fox News is Glen Beck.
And this is why I turned the TV off in the first place. I don't want to pay money every month to have my intelligence insulted.

I'm not a Newt Gingrich fan
In fact, he's part of the GOP that started it's downturn, after a brilliant take-over. But at least he's calling out Sotomayor for her racist statements.
I wonder - will the GOP actually find a backbone, or are they just going to roll over and be limp jellyfish as seems to be their standard operating procedure?

Ahem
Obama and his fucking goon squad never waste an opportunity to tell people who's in charge, do they?
Democrat American Communist Party had with Alito and Roberts?
Yeah. So fuck them. Fuck them sideways, fuck them up a tree, fuck them with a chainsaw, fuck the fucking fuckers. Every damnedRepublican Stupid Party member needs to vote against Sotomayor, at least for the fact that she's a far-left, racist loony bitch. But even if she was a middle-of-the-road nominee, they should STILL vote against her just to remind the damned Democrat American Communist Party assholes that some people haven't forgotten the way they treated Alito, or Roberts, or any Republican nominated judge since Robert Bork.
UPDATE: For anyone who wants to come in and say "But Dave, you can't just call her a racist like that!".......
Anyone remember the absolute shit-flinging festival the traitorous
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs issued a pointed warning to opponents of Judge Sonia Sotomayor’s Supreme Court nomination Wednesday, urging critics to measure their words carefully during a politically charged confirmation debate.
Yeah. So fuck them. Fuck them sideways, fuck them up a tree, fuck them with a chainsaw, fuck the fucking fuckers. Every damned
UPDATE: For anyone who wants to come in and say "But Dave, you can't just call her a racist like that!".......
In addition to her work on the bench, Judge Sotomayor is an adjunct professor at New York University School of Law and a lecturer-in-law at Columbia Law School. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York Women’s Bar Association, the Puerto Rican Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Association of Judges of Hispanic Heritage, and the National Council of La Raza. She has received many honors including, most recently, an award from the National Association of Women Lawyers. The National Council of La Raza. The Race. Who's motto is "Por La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada" (“For the race everything, outside the race nothing”). Now this gives me two options here; either she's a racist bitch, or she's so stupid and ignorant that she would become a member of a racist organization even though she doesn't share those racist views, in which case her judgement should rightly be called into question. So it's either racist or mind-numbingly stupid. That ain't good.
Grrrrrrr.....
After spending *mumblemumble* dollars to get my truck fixed, it's back in the shop after stalling out on me while I was headed off to get a haircut. It's been hard to start, and now has problems while driving. Much bad juju.
This kind of crap just drives me nuts. I was never a mechanical genius, and with newer engines I'm really screwed. I don't know why the truck is having problems. Hell, the mechanics probably don't know.
Dammit.
What really sucks is that it's raining, which means I have to steal the wife's car instead of riding my motorcycle.

Well, I wish I could say that I don't believe it
But I do.
Yep. Government control of the auto industry means that the government can control who stays in business and who doesn't. And don't tell me Obama wouldn't do it. He'll do anything he wants and get away with it because Congress is nothing more than a rubber stamp for his actions.
Armed insurrection sounds better every single day.
Found via Gateway Pundit.
Critical Updates Below: Red State, American Thinker, Joey Smith and Reliapundit provide anecdotal and quantitative evidence that would appear to confirm a decided bias against dealers who donated to GOP causes or to anti-Obama Democrats.
Special note for moonbats: no one here is saying that the sole criterion for closing a dealership was partisanship. What we ask is: does it seem odd that the list of closed dealerships appears to have contributed a grand total of $200 to Barack Obama and millions to GOP candidates/causes?
Quote from an attorney who Deposed Chrysler's president last week: "It became clear to us that Chrysler does not see the wisdom of terminating 25 percent of its dealers... It really wasn't Chrysler's decision. They are under enormous pressure from the President's automotive task force."
Stay tuned. Data crunching is underway.

I found this little essay
Via BabyTrollBlog, and it's well worth reading if you want to understand why and how America has fallen.
Democrat American Communist Party is anti-American by it's very actions, and need to finally be treated as the Domestic Enemies to the Constitution that they are.
Read it all. To defeat the enemy you must first identify him.
While conservatives have been working to improve our democracy and our free-market economy, liberals have been working to replace our democracy with a dictatorship, and our free-market economy with a command economy controlled by the government. The liberals couldn't say this aloud, because if they did the American people would have tossed them out of office on their ears. So the liberals worked covertly, feigning support for democracy and for the free market while working diligently to undermine both.Ladies and Gents, this is why the RINOs of the GOP are failing, and failing to get votes. Because they're still operating under the assumption that the opposing party actually wants America to succeed. TheThis is why our politics has been so partisan, so vicious, and so deadlocked. This is why words have lost their meaning in Washington, why we can never get to the bottom of anything, why we lurch from one manufactured scandal to another. It's all been part of a decades-long effort by the liberals to throw sand in our eyes -- to keep us from seeing clearly where they really want to take us. (And this explains why, when we question their judgment on some issue, they go berserk and accuse us of questioning their patriotism. They're afraid we're on the verge of catching on. If you want to have some fun, the next time you're chatting with a liberal and he goes nuts when you call him a socialist, say to him: "I'm so sorry you're offended. Please tell me, what is there about socialism you don't like?" You won't get a coherent answer; he'll just accuse you of a hate crime.
Read it all. To defeat the enemy you must first identify him.
Sotomayor
So the new judge that Obama picked to fill Souter's position....
What can I say about her? Well, I want you to look at this statement:
As Judge Smith explained in a 2002 speech at Berkeley, he believes it is appropriate for a judge to consider their “experiences as white men” in their decisionmaking, which he believes should “affect our decisions.”
Now you tell me if that statement was read at any liberal college (redundancy alert) there wouldn't be a shitstorm of epic proportions. But if a woman of any skin color says:
As Judge Sotomayor explained in a 2002 speech at Berkeley, she believes it is appropriate for a judge to consider their “experiences as women and people of color” in their decisionmaking, which she believes should “affect our decisions.”
Suddenly it's alright. Because only whites can be racist.
If this racist bint gets seated, it'll be one of the more disgusting events to ever take place in that body.

California Proposition 8 upheld
Today the California Supreme Court vetoed same sex marriage. The down side to this is that all current same sex marriages that occurred before Proposition 8 stand. The reasoning's for this are questionable at best.
I can understand the whole that proposition 8 was not worded to be retroactive. But to say that it would cause issues with property rights! Come on, who are we kidding here?
Some may call this a hollow victory because of the remaining "marriages". Considering I thought it would be pretty much thrown out, I think we should be happy, not elated, but happy with this judgment.

One thing that bugged me
...about Seattle this time around. Well, bugged me MORE than normal. All the men there? Feminine. Total girly men.
And I may get hate mail for this, but I really don't give a damn. There were men holding hands with their female counterpart, and I had a hard time telling who was the guy and who was the girl. It wasn't until they turned around and one of them had a goatee that I could tell who had the Y chromosome. They walked like a girl. Their mannerisms were feminine. The way they gestured with their hands was feminine. They were total and complete girly men from top to bottom. The lack of testosterone was staggering, and there were times I wanted to just go back to my hotel room and take a hot shower with scouring powder and a Brillo pad after mingling with the locals. I wanted to read this essay about five times in a row to remember what a real friggin' man is like.
The men of Seattle are not men anymore. When the homeless bums are more manly than the men, you have problems. Although it does explain why Seattle votes the way they do. There's not a single set of real balls left in the City that I could see.
Hell, I bet that when Phil goes to work, he doubles the amount of testosterone in a five-mile radius.
So folks, if you want to see what happens to a city when you remove the male portion of society, just look at Seattle. Oh, there are "men" there, if having a penis makes a person a "man". But I would say that their penises are nothing more than a fleshy appendage on an androgynous form, because I couldn't find a real man from that city in the week I was there.
Oh, and just to pile on - I'm always interested by the different dialects we have around the country, with the Southern Drawl, the Southwestern twang, the different dialects in and around New England, etc. etc. etc. You want to know what the Seattle dialect is?
It's a lisp. The majority of men in Seattle talk with a lisp. No, theriouthly, lithening to a converthathion in Pike Plathe Market was like eavethdropping on a conferenth of thpeech impedimenths.
Yeah. Go ahead and send me the hate mail.
