Sandy Berger STILL not in jail

More info has come out about former Security Adviser Sandy Berger's stealing and destruction of Code Word Classified documents. I'm amazed that he's not in jail. I'm amazed that he's not locked up in a dark cell for the rest of his natural life.

Look folks, this isn't a partisan issue. I have a security clearance, as do most if not all of the NCOs and Officers in the military, no matter which branch. If you're given a position of authority in the military, the military does a background check on you. I needed a Secret clearance when I became a Military Policeman. Now that I'm a Quartermaster, I don't need the Secret, but I still have it. You need at least a Classified clearance once you attain a certain rank.

Now, they don't just hand you your security clearance and say "Have a nice day!" They make sure you understand just what will befall you if you screw up and mishandle classified information. And they don't just do it once. We have OPSEC briefings at least once a year. We are constantly warned about what could happen if classified information that we have was stolen, destroyed, mishandled, ect.

Now Berger wasn't a military officer, he was the NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER! He's supposed to be in charge of the information security for the ENTIRE COUNTRY! And yet, here he was, stuffing documents of the highest level of classification down his fucking PANTS, walked out of the National Archives, and DESTROYED THEM!

And he's STILL not in jail!

Look, if I take classified documents from a file and destroy them, I don't get a slap on the wrist. I spend years and years in Ft. Leavenworth breaking big rocks into small rocks, and those small rocks into smaller rocks. And that's for Secret classifications.

But the top level? Berger steals and destroys documents that are the HIGHEST LEVEL OF CLEARANCE, and he gets.....

PROBATION?!?!?!?! I would spend the rest of my life in lock-up, but Berger gets probation?

Things like that are the reason why I say that all the politicians in Washington D.C., all the hanger-ons, all the syncophants, all the lawyers, every person who might possibly be in a position of power in D.C. needs to be taken out behind a barn and shot.

They're broken, folks. It's not just the system, it's the people in the system to have had their way for too long. The favoritism, cronyism, hell, all the -isms that are in use in D.C., the waste, the pork, the earmarks, the corruption (and let's be clear, damn near every single fuckstick on Capitol Hill is corrupt), they all need to be removed from the American gene pool. Send them to France, where spineless, parasitic, money-grubbing shitstains are welcomed. Send them to Iran, because so long as they are there, ain't NOTHING gonna happen. Not the way they talk and talk and talk with a complete lack of any kind of meaningful action. No matter who is in Congress, nothing will change because the people who are there are BROKEN, and they need to be removed.

Gah. Piss on Berger. He was hiding something for his boss, 'ol Slick Willy Clinton. And he's only going to get probation. Justice ain't blind, folks. When it comes to Washington D.C., Justice is a used-up whore with her legs permanently in the air, just waiting for another Congressional John with some cash to come along. Berger should be in jail for the rest of his life. The fact that he isn't proves that everyone who has dealt with this case is worthless.
