Every once in a while I have no choice but to write a check. My bank takes a helluva long time to clear one and have had as long as 3 weeks for some real slow pokes. Of course, some places only do a deposit once in a blue moon so there is that.
Needless to say, I have minimized them as much as possible. Cards and online are much faster and more convenient. I adopted bill pay as soon as it was safe.

We can actually send a check using our banking app. It's how we pay the rent. But for most things it's cards.
