I don't usually listen to music.. Thought I would try that out,, I have heard that name,, I like that.. The base line he started out with got tired, but I focused on the other sounds a while and it got good again.. Couldn't tell you how much good music is ruined by repetition, and the singer..

Usta play a Maynard Ferguson arrangement of that in high school. All those were fun as hell.
P2 - that song is the first song I think of when I hear the word "funk".
Agreed. There’s a version of Also Sprach Zarathustra, put out by Deodato, that’s fun as well. Sorta fusion type thing..
