I played sax in a rock band, but of course, Jazz was my first love. And in some ways, this video was spot on, and made me chuckle as well. And of course, the people who listen to Jazz think that they are the only ones who understand how it really is, and the True Jazz Feel, and everyone else is simply not AWARE enough to get it. I always hated those stuffy sorts, who thought themselves so above all the rest, and felt that only they could truly appreciate the nuances of Jazz. I myself thought that you just enjoyed it for the joy of the music.
Yeah, the hard core beatniks were annoying, but fun to screw with. But it's that way with any group of people who think they're the only ones to *really* understand that music. "Dude, death metal rocks!" Oh really? So you listen to Nickleback?
