Many people have bought houses they cannot afford, vacations way out of reach and a lifestyle that is all on credit. We own our house outright and have very little debt.
We moved to Florida to:
1. Be close to cruise ports (we love to cruise). 2. Get weather that we can live with (we are tired of snow and freezin our baguettes off). 3. Live in a state that respects the Constitution and has a Governor with cajones. 4. Get the hell outta Rogues Island. 5. Last but not least, the cost of living is more than half less here.
The Mrs. and I are about a year and a half away from being completely debt free, and if she can get a job that pays more than her current job we'll be done even sooner.
