Staycation
Been on leave since Monday. Haven't done a damn thing except clean up around the house and sit on my ass. I've been enjoying it. Right now I'm having a cigar and coffee after my run, listening to the rain patter on my porch umbrella. I'm also watching the hummingbirds as they slurp up the food from the multiple feeders we have out back.
Later today, range time with the Mrs. It's a hard life, but someone has to live it.

good on ya.... had a couple weeks worth of vacation time and the bullshit finally exceeded the paycheck, so i'm on terminal leave from my last circus. been doin the same thing you are except i'm clearing dead leaves and cuttin firewood. snow is mere days away.....

nothin lined up...but there are options. not really worried about it. somethin satisfying about 40 degrees ans the solid thunk of a splitting maul, instead of the continual banging of my head against a wall....
