So... Let me see if I get this straight:
Cruz had multiple affairs over the years. And the most hated man in Washington D.C., reviled by both the GOP and Democrats managed to cover them up, until a Donald Trump advisor (Roger Stone, who is also former Nixon guy) managed to whisper into the ear of the National Enquirer, who's publisher is ALSO a Trump amigo.
Yeah. Right. Pull the other one, it's got bells on it.
The question isn't just "Did Cruz do it", because I don't think he did. The question is how much damage is the allegation going to cause to Cruz in the long term? Because as we all know from watching the Democrats, whom Trump supporters seem to be emulating, a lie told often enough will stick.

The only evidence is Cruz walking out of a restaurant at the same time as one of the women they claim he was having an affair with. That must mean he's guilty as sin! Meanwhile, Trump being a serial adulterer (having cheated on all of his prior wives while still married), Hillary being married to a serial rapist and sexual assaulter while most likely sleeping with Huma Abedin on the side (not to mention I would like to see a DNA report on Chelsea's parentage), and Sanders' only private sector job writing dirty columns for Screw Magazine?

If Trump went after Hillary and Bernie as hard as he's attacking Cruz, he'd probably be smoking the national polls right now.
But Trump really isn't that smart, and I've been lowering my opinion of his intelligence on a weekly basis. Using his political advisor and his tabloid pal to launch this attack is just about as blatant as it can get.
