Now, setting aside the realization that nobody on the Left is going to call out Takei on his racism, here's my question (and me getting offensive):
If George Takei didn't like sucking cock or taking it up the ass, would anyone give a damn about what he said?
No. No they would not. No more than they gave a damn about what James Doohan thought.
Nicer take on George the Moron Takei: He's just stupid, and bitter that Shatner was a bigger star than he was. Still - did they bring out Checkov for a statement on politics? No. Are they hounding Shatner for a statement on politics? No.
So what makes Takei the politics guy for the media? Because it's their kind of politics, and he's gay. That's it. That's the criteria. He is a man who fucks other men, and the media loves him for it.

Do you mean James Doohan? The guy who played Scotty? Because he was one of those who fought his way across the beach on D-Day, and I will listen respectfully to anything he wanted to say, even if I might not agree. (Full disclosure: I met him once, and he was verra nice, even though he was more drunk than a bucket of Gatorade after a football game during August.)
Of course, you COULD mean Jimmy Doolittle, the guy who commanded the air attack on Tokyo following Pearl Harbor, but he's another I would have listened to very respectfully.

I don't have a sufficient vocabulary to express how much I HATE the bastardization of our language by the left-scum. Ol' George is a HOMOSEXUAL and the last word I would use to describe those people is "gay". Most of them are the most miserable excuses for human beings on the planet.
