Have to qualify. Not going to be a problem, except for the fact that I loathe the tinker-toy they laughingly call a battle rifle.
That also means less bloggy goodness. Sorry bout that, but them bills gots to be paid!
I suppose that when I say "I have to qualify", that means that I have to teach all the people who forgot which way to point the boom-stick since the last time they qualified to qualify, since that's what's going to be happening. Don't get me wrong, I love instructing marksmanship, but I would prefer to teach folks who ENJOY shooting, not those who regard the M-16 as "that icky black thing I have to touch once a year".

Using ACOG/CCO yet, so the troops can have even less concepts of how to hit? Several of ours were upset when the batteries died halfway through qual; "wasn't fair" for scores compared to those who had working optics.
Nah. Just the good old iron sights. Good enough for grandpa, good enough for me!
