Remember how many times I said.....

That the reign of that Jug Eared Shitstain, Barry Hussein OBumblefuck, would damage this country in ways we wouldn't be able to fix?

That pathetic fucking moron blew threw the supply of N95 masks in 2009 and never replenished them.  Too busy fucking this country over with Obamacare to notice, I guess.

More common sense

Regarding the Kung Flu numbers.

Look, if some people need to be quarantined, then I suppose they have to be quarantined.  But to shut down the entire country over this is...  well...  bullshit.

"But Dave, people could die!"

I've contracted pneumonia three different times from breathing in mold from three different Army buildings.  You know who gives a shit?  Nobody except my wife.  Do you think anything is going to be done about those buildings?  Hell, no.  Why not?  Because it would cost too much money for those precious Democrats to spend that they would rather give to illegal aliens and welfare queens.

And this country will let them do just that.

Let's be blunt, shall we?  This thing kills the old, the infirm, the fat bastards with diabetes, the three pack a day smokers.  It attacks the lungs, so any condition that makes it hard for you to breath makes this worse.  So let's quarantine those people if we need to do so in order to keep them safe.

But that's no reason to shut down the country, eliminate jobs, destroy businesses, kill careers.  To torpedo the economy.

We are not China.  We are not Italy.  Stay Calm.  Wash your Hands.

Read this. All of it.

And ponder.

"We people of the 20th and 21st centuries are so proud to have gotten rid of religion and be free of so-called superstitions, we being scientific and reasonable and so on, but isn't the truth that we are not as "free" from faith as we convince ourselves we have become, having turned to the State (l'état-providence in French) and made it our religion instead?"

The Kung Flu death numbers are inflated

As I said earlier, Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics.

Look, I have family that are at risk from death if they contract the Kung Flu.  I get it.  But if you have cancer, and then the Kung Flu comes in and hits you, did you die of the flu or did the flu just finish was the cancer started?

"Oh hey, look, this guy has multiple conditions that have basically sent his immune system into a crater and he's got less than a year to live at best, but it's totally the Kung Flu that killed him!"

The hysteria and fear created by people who want you scared and hysterical are going to do more harm than the actual virus.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics

Many of the models used to estimate the Kung Flu spread are as flawed as climate change models.

Davis found that the actual numbers of hospitalizations on April 1 were a fraction of the numbers projected by the IHME model. The problem with the model, he discovered, is that it uses New York and New Jersey data and applies it to the rest of the states.

The actual numbers range from a low of 9% in Tennessee of the projection to a high of 50% in Virginia. Here are some examples:

I can't fault someone for looking at the worst case scenario.  It's what emergency managers are paid to do.  But there's a difference between saying "This is the worst cases scenario", and "This is what is going to happen no matter what."

Can someone tell me why small towns with no Kung Flu cases are shut down?  Can we open up Cashton, Wisconsin?  I understand that New York is a basket case of virus vectors, but Worley, Idaho is not New York.

Why are we using numbers from a virus vector hot spot to shut down all the country?

I are a good english talker!

I've made a few mistakes in my spelling, and more than a few in my grammar, but I'm not nearly as bad as the people who are supposedly getting an education.

Only 41 percent of graduate students tested in 2003 could be classified as “proficient” in prose—reading and understanding information in short texts—down 10 percentage points since 1992. Of college graduates, only 31 percent were classified as proficient—compared with 40 percent in 1992. “It’s appalling—it’s really astounding,” said Michael Gorman, president of the American Library Association and a librarian at California State University at Fresno. “Only 31 percent of college graduates can read a complex book and extrapolate from it. That’s not saying much for the remainder.”

I remember having to correct one page essays from graduate students.  Not four or five page essays, ONE PAGE.

DOUBLE SPACED.

TWELVE-POINT FONT.

ONE INCH MARGINS.

And I had to go in, make my corrections and send it back to them.

At this point, if the Army wasn't paying for my college, I wouldn't be going.  I would not spend a dime out of my own pocket for it.  And I'm not going to waste my time going to a brick-and-mortar school.  In short, if it doesn't gain me a skill that I couldn't get from reading online, I'm not paying for it.

Read the whole thing.

Hat tip to Mr. Baker.

I know it's not Christian

But I don't have any pity what so ever for these walking sacks of garbage, after what they've done to this country.

Our media is garbage, and the only reason they can be called garbage is because to call them shit-infesting parasites is an insult to all parasites out there.  So now they're getting laid off.  Good.  LEARN TO CODE, BITCHES!

How many times must people be told

Don't Trust Commies.  Ever.  The Chi-Com propaganda is that they have a lid on new Wuhan Flu cases.  It's bullshit, as usual.

Keep in mind that China is saying they've topped out at just over 3,300 deaths.  The USA is going to surpass that sometime this week.  Now ask yourself - what are the chances that a shithole commie country with half the population stuck in the middle ages and sitting in the streets will have less death from a contagion than the USA?

Maybe they list the deaths differently there.  After all, when you've welded people into their apartments and they die of starvation, they didn't die of the Wuhan Flu, did they?

I'm actually OK with quarentining NYC.

Can we throw in Los Angeles and San FranFreakShow as well?

There's actually a lot of places I would love to quarantine from the rest of the USA.  But that's just me.
