illegal immigration

I have been very fortunate to have extremely candid discussions with legal immigrants and Naturalized Citizens of the United States of America about illegal immigration. I love discussing this problem with them because they have gone through the process. I have never met a legal immigrant that did not think illegal immigration is a problem that needs to be fixed! They know the process, the problems, the good, the bad, and the ugly of the process. One of these naturalized citizens is my brother in law. He knows many people on both sides. He does not think that amnesty is the solution. He understands that it would only further encourage the problem. His solution is a trinity that must be performed all at one time.

I: give a period of a couple years where the illegal immigrant(yes this affects Mexico the most) would have to go back to their county of origin and go through the process legally. During this time only these immigrants would be allowed back over the border. There would be no financial help. If they have to sell their houses and SUV's to make this work, then it would be done.
The reason that no help could be afforded is that if employers offered loans for servitude we we have issues of slavery, and I think that for the government to offer loans would be a mixed message, especially since they have not been paying their taxes to support the govenment and they need to redeem themselves with honor to prove they will be productive members of our society.

II: close the borders, secure them and stop giving incentives for people to come here illegally.
No instate tuition, welfare, no teaching in Spanish. Stop all the benefits and incentives.
Criminal, general background and all other normal checks would be done to make sure that we are gaining productive members of society.

III: the final part would be the employers. The empoyers would have to verify that all of their employees are legal, in an instant database. Most employers that hire illegal immigrants do so knowingly. Some states are trying to pass laws stating that employers knowingly hiring illegal immigrants would lose their business licenses. I would add to that to have their business siezed and sold at auction to deport said illegals.

FACT OR FICTION
*An item that Canada has added to prevent "Anchor babies" is that unless the parents are legal immigrants or citizens the baby does not get Canadian citizenship.

* yes, the Mexican government does encourage people to come here illegally.

*Part of the problem is that the USA limits the number of immigrants each year. Most, if not all of the countries that we have immigration from, have a lottery system that is mandated by the USA. In countries such as Mexico there is a great deal of cost with no guarantees, due to corruption. This is something that needs work.

*It was also brought to my attention that that if all illegal immigrants were pulled suddenly that many border states economies would struggle and be massively destabilized. This is one of the biggest reason for doing this over 4 or 5 years. It would allow for process during a reasonable amount of time, and all wanting to participate would be able to do so, and not so long as to prevent people who want to participate in the process.

*"Currently, Employers can be sued for discriminating against someone who they suspect is an illegal alien (like if they think their ID is fake). That has to be reversed and a national ID system for legal immigrants established before we can nail anymore employer balls to the wall."

There is no quick and easy answer for this problem. Amnesty is not the answer. I am aware that there are a lot of details that I don't have. This is the best plan that I have heard.
