 I started blogging twenty years ago on this blog.  All because Tim asked if I'd like to join in the fun.

I had no clue what my life was going to become back then.  I hadn't re-enlisted yet.  Hadn't gotten married yet.  And here I am, retired from the Army, still putting up with my wife, and I'm old enough now to say I have no clue what my life will be in twenty years.  Or if I'll even be around in twenty years.  Who knows?

What I do know is that I'm rather tired of living in he Goolag, where posts of mine show up as censored by the Marxist pieces of shit at Google and Alphabet.  So, from now on you can find me at Liberty's Torch.

Life changes.  Some are welcome, some are not.  Alternatively, life sucks, wear a helmet.

Without Trump's election, we wouldn't have nearly as much evidence of the corruption in D.C.  Oh, sure, we knew it was corrupt, but only the most pessimistic of us had any clue of how far down the rot had grown.

Started cleaning out Dad's office yesterday

 And I found it a little hard to breathe. It has been all assholes and elbows here since his death. There was a bunch of stuff that was planned prior to his passing, and that still had to be attended to. Such as the removal of several trees around the property that were either dying or at risk of falling and hitting the house. Since we use wood heat in the winter, that means they left the trees where they fell and it was my job to try to clean it up. Three days of moving wood and downed limbs, and I’ve barely put a scratch on the piles. It’ll be an all-summer event.

Helping Mom with the administrative stuff that happens when a retired service member dies. There’s a lot of people you have to contact and inform of the passing. Pay stuff. He was getting disability on top of the retirement, and since his death was related to his disability Mom gets a portion of it. Social Security, and dear Lord how I hate dealing with government offices.

So I’ve been busy. Hell, I might have had one day off since I retired, because people need to be taken care of and things need to be accomplished, and I’m the able-bodied (somewhat) man of the house, and so I just kept putting one foot in front of the other. Until yesterday.

Dad had a lot of mementos from his service. Lots of stuff that had importance to him personally, but other than that has real little value. I have the same from my service. I daresay that all of you, if you’re of my age or older, have the same from whatever occupation you had, a lifetime of memories from a career that are dear to you, but memories only matter to the person who has them. And so I have bundles of things, stuff, odds and ends that Dad cared about that are not only impractical but have very little use in the world, and I’m finding it rather hard to dispose of them. Anything that can be used or reused will be, because my father didn’t raise a wasteful man. But things such as the embroidered insignia from his first tour in Viet Nam, that not only means little to me but that I can’t even relate to, is still hanging on the wall. All of his sailing books that I’ll never use, because I already have hobbies that suck up my time and cash. The challenge coins… I have my own collection, and it’s considered uncouth to keep challenge coins that weren’t given to you directly. Dad got those coins for the things that HE did, just as I received mine for my own actions.

I can’t keep it all. But I’m struggling to part with it. I already have lot of mementos of my father. His service pistol, a 1911 he purchased when he first reported to his unit and was issued a pistol that rattled when you held it. Back when I first held his pistol, he told me that he had asked for something that wouldn’t blow up in his hand, and the armorer informed him that he could buy his own if he wanted. So he did. Books about forestry, which I think I’ll find more and more useful as the years go on. Pictures and memories framed on the wall. I know that I can’t keep everything. But I feel like it’s going to be several months before I can pare it down.

I told my Mom that when everything was done and put away, I was going to walk out into the woods and have myself a good long cry. And I think that when I let go of the last of Dad’s stuff, that is when it will happen.

We all knew it. The government lied about it, and we knew it was a lie.

 The Kung Flu came from a lab, thanks to US funding from that demonic imp Fauci.

But according to a bombshell report from the Sunday Times (UK), COVID-19 was indeed the result of genetic engineering carried out by the Chinese military.

Why would U.S. health officials want to cover this up? Because the funding for this effort originated in the United States, coming from the National Institute of Health via the EcoHealth Alliance. The Chinese military got involved with the coronavirus research around 2017 once significant progress was being made in gain-of-function research.

How long have I and many others said this in the face of the government lies?  A long, long time.

Yesterday purely sucked

 I was up ripping out fences at 0630, because the Ragin' Mom was having a tree crew come take down a number of trees that were either damaged, dying or dead and they were going to be dropped right on top of the fencing around the pasture.

So.  Ripping out fences purely sucks.

Then the crew shows up and gets to work.  Now my job is to clear slash and move ten-foot logs that are roughly two to three feet in diameter.  Screwed up my left leg doing that, by being a knucklehead who thinks he's still a young buck and using muscle instead of brains.  That purely sucked.

Oh, and because the Ragin' Mom has told me in no uncertain terms that I'll be selling the spices and sauces I make at the local farmer's market, after a morning of hard labor I got to go stand on my feet for five hours.

By the time I got home yesterday, I could barely walk.

Feeling better today, but I have to go move more piles of wood just to clear a path to the barn.  We'll see how I feel tonight.

As an aside, here's a little run-down of how Goolag and the America-hating marxists who run it are shutting down ads and money-making ability on conservative websites.  They really do hate you, and they hate America.  Personally, if the GOP had any balls at all instead of being spineless slugs who play at failure theater, they would remove Section 230 protection from Goolag, Fecesbook and every other online publisher (not platforms, they've proven that they're not platforms due to their censorship), and then let the people who've been censored take the fuckers to court.

America does better when Goolag dies, even just a tiny bit of it.

These people haven't learned a thing

 Bud Light is sponsoring an "All Ages Drag Show" in Arizona.  The people running these companies hate you, and they think you're a knuckle-dragging moron.

The “all-ages Pride event” will reportedly happen in Flagstaff, Arizona. Titled “Pride of the Pines,” the event will include drag queens and other LGBTQ-themed performances. According to Fox News, the event lists Bud Light as one of its corporate sponsors and is even featured prominently on one of the posters. It will take place on June 17.

Wait, ONE of its corporate sponsors?  So other companies have decided to to stick their dick into a hornet's nest as well?

“Other big-name companies sponsoring the all-ages event for Pride Month include Old Navy, Toyota and Coca-Cola USA, according to an event flyer. The Northern Arizona Pride Association lists a ‘No Nudity-City Ordinance’ for ‘all gender forms’ as one of the regulations for the park that the event will take place in.”

Do you understand just how badly the morons running these companies hate you, hate Christianity, hate Western values and hate America?  For them, they'll do anything to keep getting invited to the right parties and moving in the right circles.  They'll drive their organizations into the ground to the applause of all the smart people who have impeccable credentials.  I've watched it happen.  And I've watched the same credentialed failures keep moving from organization to organization, never succeeding at anything other than losing money, and always failing upward.

As Breitbart News reported, Bud Light Vice President of Marketing Alissa Heinerscheid was placed on a leave of absence for her role in pushing the ad. Her boss, Daniel Blake, went on a leave of absence almost immediately after.

Let me ask the hypothetical question if I may.  If you were a person of some importance at your job, and you not only lost the company billions of dollars in market value and drove away 25% of your customer base, would you get to keep your job?

We all know the answer, don't we?  Hell NO you wouldn't be able to keep your job, and any boss who actually cared about his company would fire you so fast that your shadow wouldn't catch up to you until you were halfway home.

And yet the two woke cretins in charge, Heinerscheid and Blake, are NOT fired are they?  Nope.  "Leave of Absence".  Which is corporate speak for "Let's keep paying them and hide them until the morons settle down a little, and then we'll bring them back in al quiet like."

One, this shows that they don't give a fuck about what you think.  They hate you.  They hate your lifestyle, your customs, your traditions, your values.  

Two, this is even more egregious from a marketing standpoint and shows just how horrible that woke hag Heinerscheid is at her job.  What kind of marketing "professional" is so clueless about her customers that they literally drive away the people who buy their product?  Bud Light is radioactive now.  And again, and I'm going to keep pounding this fact home, Heinerscheid STILL HAS HER JOB.  Because they hate you, they hate your values, they hate your religion, and they hate that you are allowed to live the way you want to live.  They don't care how bad Heinerscheid is, and they don't care how many customers they lose.  They have their woke narrative to push, and they'll push it at the exclusion of everything else.

Again, they'll happily drive Bud Light into insolvency if it allows them access to the credentialed social circles they run in, where everybody knows each other and they all went to the same schools and they all just know somehow that those slope-headed Jesus Freaks in flyover country need to be taught what to think.

Anyways, I need more coffee and the dogs need a walk, so....

Let me tell you about James

 James was born the eldest of nine kids in a Irish Catholic family.  James' dad was in the Navy, and James just happened to be born in 1940, so his dad was gone quite a bit of the time trying to teach bad people the consequences of their actions.  James excelled at running, winning countless meets as a high schooler, and then holding state records in the one-mile an two-mile events when he attended college.  When there's nine kids in the family and your mom calls out "DINNER TIME!" you make sure you're the first one to the table, because that's a situation of "The Quick and The Hungry". 

After college, James decided that he wanted a vacation, so he joined Uncle Sam's Misguided Children, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant.  Since being an officer in the USMC wasn't hard enough, he took up running marathons as a hobby.  That lasted until knee surgery in his 60's.  After that he took up bike riding and competed in several races, because those damn kids needed to be put in their place.

At one point while he was stationed in Norfolk, VA, he injured his ankle.  This is important because while swimming in a pool as part of his recovery, he was hit on by a female life guard who thought he looked cute.  They got married about three years later.  They had two boys, much to his great surprise.  James once told me that if he had known that sex led to kids, he would have just joined the priesthood and remained celibate.  I believed him when he said this.

James did two tours in Viet Nam.  It was not a fun time.  That's all that needs to be said about that.

After twenty two years of service, James figured it was time to be called "Mister", so he retired and went back to school.  He worked in the computer industry in a time when MS DOS was the king of operating systems.  Along the way he did his best to instill honor, work ethics and integrity into his two boys.  It stuck.  One went on to join the service, and the other ended up becoming the President of the company that he had started working for decades ago just to pay a few bills.

James was diagnosed with cancer around 2014.  He informed his family of this by titling his email "Well, damn".  He successfully fought it off twice.  But when the Covidiacy made the medical establishment lose its collective mind, things got a little out of hand, and cancer started winning.  James' two boys spent countless hours at the family home making sure that James and his wife were taken care of, and that James would be able to live life as he wanted to live it.  He spent the last part of his life on his property, looking out at the forest that he loved and surrounded by family that he loved and who loved him.  Have you heard the joke "An Introvert is someone who, when a pandemic happens, doesn't notice a change in their lifestyle"?  That was James.  All he needed was his wife, his sons, and a couple of his Marine Corps League buddies.

James lost his battle with cancer today.  He died with his wife of over fifty years by his side, and his younger son praying the rosary at his bedside every morning.

He taught me how to drive.  How to run a chainsaw and fell a tree.  He taught me the joy in laughing.  Jokes and practical jokes and how poking fun at a problem makes the problem easier to deal with.  He taught me that freedom and responsibility are both sides of the same coin.  He hammered a work ethic into me.  When I first enlisted, he was the officer who swore me in.  That picture remains in the dining room to this day, because that's how proud of me he was.  He raised me and mentored me and guided me, and as his health failed I did everything I could to return what he did for me in service to him, to make sure he didn't ever get put into a nursing home.  

He was a prickly perfectionist.  When I was a teen I got t-boned by a driver who had ran a red light.  He got pissed off at me for not looking both ways a fourth or fifth time.  I can say that a lot of my unhealthy mental habits come from him.  The perfectionism.  Taking the blame for things because if somehow, somewhere if I had done some thing that I wasn't aware of I could have made X or Y happen.

But he built the parts of me that are the best.  The integrity.  The ability to stand my ground when I'm right, and to acknowledge my mistakes when I'm wrong.  The ability to just get the job done, because dammit that's what a proper man does.  

I'm going to miss him.  And maybe if I live a good enough life, I'll get to see him again.

[Trump’s former chief of staff Mark] Meadows’ autobiography includes an account of what appears to be the same meeting, during which Trump “recalls a four-page report typed up by (Trump’s former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff) Mark Milley himself. It contained the general’s own plan to attack Iran, deploying massive numbers of troops, something he urged President Trump to do more than once during his presidency.

Mark Milley has presided over the woke-ification of the US Military, the degrading of standards when it comes to actual combat training, the abandonment of American citizens allies in Afghanistan, the abandonment of billions of dollars of weapons and equipment to the Taliban (which is why we now see AT-4s popping up at the Southern Border), and of course, the disastrous jab mandate.  And now we find out he was pushing Donald Trump to attack Iran.  Trump obviously said No Thanks, but what the fuck was this god-damned clown doing pushing for a full-fledged war?  

That was a rhetorical question.  We all know he was trying to get more money for the military-industrial complex.  After all, his seven-figure job at Lockheed or Rayethon or whoever ain't gonna just pay for itself.

Mark Milley is a traitor to his country, a back-stabbing traitor to his Soldiers, and a complete and total Clown World neo-con who only cares about himself.  He should be put in solitary and left to rot.

June is Pride Month for the LGBTQ+ community. As a result, many Major League Baseball teams across the country are planning to host Pride Night celebrations at their ballparks – or similar promotions that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. But one team has made it clear that they will not hold such a celebration: the Texas Rangers.

While every other team across Major League Baseball has held a Pride Night or similar promotional event, the Dallas Morning News reports that Texas Rangers have not hosted a promotion to welcome and celebrate the LGBTQ+ in over two decades. Back in 2003, the team did invite several LGBTQ+ groups to the ballpark, according to The Advocate, but it was not officially marketed as any specific promotion and was met with anti-gay protests. The team has not hosted a similar event since.

Good on 'em.  The more you feed into this woke bullshit, the more the woke crowd will expect you to participate.  Until you end up like Bud Light and Target, losing your customers and wondering why your stock price keeps dropping.

You want to know how badly Bud Light hates their own customers?  That VP of marketing still hasn't been fired yet.  How many billions of dollars do you have to lose your company before they fire you?  If any of us had performed an action that lost our company a quarter of their sales, would we still have a job?  You know we wouldn't.  But that Heinersheid woman (apologies for the mis-spelling, but I didn't bother to look up her last name) tanked A-B stock, lost at least a quarter of sales for Bud Light that her competitors happily gobbled up, and she's still employed.

Because the over-credentialed Ivy League trash running A-B hate you.  And they don't think she was wrong.

Anyways...  I'm betting Bud Light sales at Ranger games is down as well.  

Lloyd Austin is a worthless piece of shit, and everybody knows it

Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles met his Chinese counterpart, Li Shangfu, on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore after Li refused to meet U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Marles confirmed the meeting on Twitter, calling the meeting another “important step” towards stablising the relationship between the two countries.

Why should China meet with Lloyd "I fuck over the troops as much as possible" Austin?  China owns his boss.  China has nothing to fear from the blithering fuckstain who introduced trannys and pronounds into the military.  Lloyd Austin is a worthless racist piece of political shit who is destroying the US military as fast has he can, and as such Lloyd Austin is already doing what China wants him to do.

Why does China need a meeting with their puppet by proxy?

China also knows there's no danger of snubbing Lloyd Austin, since Lloyd Austin would have to grow a spine to mount a response.  And the only people that Lloyd Austin is interested in attacking is the military troops who don't bow to his bullshit.

Trump decided to attack McEnany, who is now a co-host of Fox News’ Outnumbered, where she reported on polling data from Iowa indicating that Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis is “closing the gap” with Donald Trump since officially announcing his candidacy last week.

Trump’s use of “milktoast” is an apparent misspelling of the term “milquetoast,” which refers to a timid or weak person. How exactly can Trump justify using such a term to describe McEnany, given how she effectively and aggressively handled the media during her time as White House Press Secretary?

Just how many bridges is Trump going to burn, attacking people who were loyal to him through some pretty nasty shit?

This ain't hypothetical.  This is happening.  McEnany was a rock star for the Trump administration, and all she did was read a poll on TV and Trump loses it?

THAT is why Ron DeSantis has a chance in the primary.  Because he wouldn't do shit like that.

Family left today

 These visits are normally my brother and I working like animals to accomplish what my parents need done.  This was no exception.  Man, I'm tired.

A paper published by the University of Manchester “found” that COVID was associated with vertigo, hearing loss, and tinnitus. Two years later they did a 180 and admitted that they assumed this to be the case.

Not a single person who screams about "MUH SCIENCE!" should ever be trusted, and quite frankly all of these lying liars should be fired, forced out on the street and begging for the next meal.

Myocarditis, as in the PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE HEART.

The people pushing the vax are satanic.  Their goal is satanic.  And their actions deserve to have them publicly executed.

U.S. officials have already concluded that the conditions are caused by the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, although the vaccines didn’t carry a warning for months after authorization. One possible mechanism is excessive immune responses triggered by lipid nanoparticles. Novavax’s vaccine, authorized in 2022, can also cause the heart conditions, authorities say.

Lipid nanoparticles are a known toxin.  And researchers have known for years that spike proteins cause the animals injected with them to stroke out and die.

Guess what the jab uses to get the mRNA into you?  And guess what that mRNA causes your body to produce?

Dump run

The sheer amount of boxes and paper that I have to get rid of boggles the mind.  That's on top of other things that need to be done.  Set up a couple of steel cabinets for my mom yesterday, right before sitting at the table at the farmer's market for our local grange hall.  And that's in between doing all the stuff for the house that needs doing.

I thought I was retired, man.  It sure doesn't feel like it.

 Not only was the perpetual mask wearing not effective, it actually hurts you in the long run.

What can breathing too much carbon dioxide do to you? The authors write that “at levels between 0.05% and 0.5% CO2,” one might experience an “increased heart rate, increased blood pressure and overall increased circulation with the symptoms of headache, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, rhinitis, and dry cough.” Rates above 0.5 percent can lead to “reduced cognitive performance, impaired decision-making and reduced speed of cognitive solutions.” Beyond 1 percent, “the harmful effects include respiratory acidosis, metabolic stress, increased blood flow and decreased exercise tolerance.” Again, mask-wearers are likely breathing in CO2 levels between 1.4 percent and 3.2 percent—well above any of these thresholds.

Wearing a mask of flimsy cloth is worthless.  Walking around all day while wearing a mask is worthless.  It causes far more harm than any good it could possibly do, and it is, quite frankly ANTI-SCIENTIFIC to think that a flimsy piece of cloth worn over your mouth all day is somehow going to stop the spread of a disease.

Look, I've worked in a hospital.  I've worm masks when I had to go into a patient's room.  And I also wore gloves, and a covering that is basically a gown made of thin yellow plastic.  And once I came out of the patient's room, there was a checklist of actions you had to take.  Number one, the gown was tied to you with really thin plastic ties.  The reason for that is you didn't untie them, you just pulled the gown off and the ties broke.  By pulling it off, you could basically reverse it and you didn't have to touch any of the surface that might be contaminated.  Gown goes into a medical waste bin.  Next, gloves.  There's a procedure to taking off the gloves so that you don't touch your skin.  After the gloves, the mask comes off.  it all goes into the medical waste bin.  Then you WASH YOUR HANDS and any other skin that might have been contaminated.  Wash them again.

Note, I did not say "Keep wearing all the same crap from room to room".  Which is what the Center for Disease Continuation was pushing for years despite the known issues with constant mask wearing.

Once again, we were right, they were wrong.  And they were wrong in the face of all evidence..  Which means they knew they were wrong and they kept lying anyways.  The mask mandates were never about safety, they were about forcing compliance to the state.

How long have I been saying that Democrats only win the elections that they steal?  I have that as a tag for posts, and from what I can see I started using it in 2008.

The video showed the hospital worker trying to take a Citi Bike out of its location. Citi Bike is a rental bicycle that you can pay for. A young black man was intervening and not letting her remove it, saying it was his bike. He also had friends telling the woman to get off the bike. The woman started calling for help and said that she was pregnant.

Just that little interchange was enough to have the video spread everywhere with people who didn’t know the facts calling the woman a “racist” and a “Karen.” People even tried to dox the woman, others said that what she did was putting the young black men in the video in “danger.” You even had folks like lawyer Ben Crump claiming that she was attempting to steal the bike and was trying to blame the men. He later deleted the tweet.

Six feral human attempted to steal a bike this woman had rented.  And the videoed their actions, and put it out on the internet accusing the woman of being racist.

And of course the media ran with it.

Sue.  Them.  Into.  Oblivion.  Sue them to the point where they'll join the beggars and other addicts on the street.  Sue them so hard that they disappear.

Farmers Market

 So, one of the things my wife and I have done for years is make various spice rubs.  BBQ rubs, Southwestern rubs, etc.  We've sold a few here and there.

Now that I'm retired and back home, the Mother Imperial has decreed that I shall sell these rubs at the local farmer's market.  Said farmer's market being today. and the imperial decree coming just a few days ago.

So despite being sick, we whipped up the spices, packaged them up and got them to market today.  

For a first day, it was a wild success.  

I can't wait until I can start making sausages.

The man accused of opening fire on a family in Texas, killing five people, has been arrested following a four-day manhunt. 

Francisco Oropesa, 38, is accused of opening fire on his neighbors after they asked him to stop shooting in his yard because they were trying to get a baby to sleep.

The shooting happened on April 28, and sparked a national manhunt. On Tuesday, sources told NBC DFW that Oropesa was apprehended in the city of Cut and Shoot, Texas.

Officials said Oropesa was found hiding under the laundry in a closet. 

Oropesa has been taken to the Montgomery County Jail and is charged with first-degree murder.

Bring back public executions.  Hang him in the town square.  Or put him in front of a firing squad, and raffle off tickets for people to pull the trigger.

I don't care, as long as he's dead.  How many fucking chances does a person get to commit violent crimes against law abiding citizens?  And quite frankly if the government isn't going to protect the law abiding citizens, then the law abiding citizens need to not be so law abiding in their response to violent crime.
