Because other than vague emotional vomit, nobody can tell me why we need to let everyone into this country.
The Jones thesis of cultural transplant devastates the starry-eyed “come one, come all” immigration advocacy popular among progressives and libertarians. It shows that the importation of cultures that are not historically conducive to prosperity is a serious weakness of our current immigration policy. The result could be lower quality governance, decreased trust, less support for free enterprise, reduced innovation, and many other effects large and small. These effects cannot be dismissed with nostalgic references to the Irish of yesteryear.
What exactly do all those immigrants, the legal ones, do for this country? How do they help us improve and grow?
I'm not even going to touch on the illegal aliens that are flooding our border. You know, the ones that some members of the GOP want to make citizens.
I’m not a staunch social conservative, but you can arguably say that the recent repeal of the Defense of Marriage Act didn’t earn any dividends with GOP base voters. So, what do Republicans want to do now in the lame-duck session? Pass a grand bargain on immigration that could lead to millions of illegal aliens being put on a pathway to citizenship.
The deal was hashed out between Sens. Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ). There is no funding to complete the border wall—that would make sense. Still, it will permit some two million recipients of Obama’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program to get on the citizenship track. The buried portion of this provision is that once these two million are through the process, they can sponsor extended family members so that two million-figure could be closer to seven million, and I’m being conservative in that estimate.
Shit like this is what makes me black-pilled. I can't think of any other organization that continues to exist despite the fact that it's base actually hates it, and the only reason for their existence is the fact that they're not the opposition. Most GOP voters would vote for someone who's NOT in the GOP, simply because we're tired of getting stabbed in the back by two-faced traitorous bastards. Hell, it's why Donald Trump still has huge following. The GOP is quickly showing why the red wave became a red trickle. Because when given the choice of the GOP and then the Libertarian party or the Constitutional party, plenty of GOP voters voted for someone who didn't have a chance in hell of winning but at least gave the voter a choice of someone who wasn't going to kick them in the nuts and run off with the Democrats.
I swear, the DNC has to have photos of these people doing horrible things. Or maybe they really are that pathetically stupid. Or maybe they're just that evil.
Actually, they're just that evil.
Read both pieces. And let's shift the conversation from the communist-preferred amnesty to "Close the border, lock it down, and keep it locked for a good long while."
Fascinating how all of these pro-amnesty types live behind guarded gates with personal security on all of their houses, every single one of which has doors that lock and cameras covering every square inch of the land they claim as their own.
ReplyDelete2025. You heard it from me first.
Sadly most of the people they want to import will be an imposition on society. They will be welfare rats and drug mules or worse.
ReplyDeleteMS-13 and similar groups make young men offers they cannot refuse.
I do not owe these invaders a goddamn thing. None of us do actually. The feel-goodnicks can pay the bill. Oh, you don't want to do that huh? Fuck you all and the horse you rode in on. I got no sympathy for illegals whatsoever.
Dave, we are deeply screwed and I don't see an easy solution. I want to go on a diatribe but, you know how I feel about repukes and dims.
It's all being done on purpose. It's the Cloward-Piven strategy. Overwhelm the system and deliberately bring about its collapse, and then they can "rebuild" it in their socialist utopia.
ReplyDeleteOf course, once the system collapses the socialists are fair game. No license needed, no bag limit.
The American People have lost all faith in Government, the media, and - now - elections. They no longer have a common culture, and no joined ideology. The only thing tying us together as a "nation" is the currency, and that's about as stable as an upside-down pyramid. (Fully 20% of all currency in circulation was printed since 2020, with no corresponding increase in wealth to back it.)
ReplyDeleteNot later than 2025.
