Gotta pick it up from the shipping place. Since it's a computer it requires a signature to be delivered, and both the wife and I work when it's supposed to be delivered. Yeah. So we called 'em up and said
"Don't deliver shit. I'll be there after work."
In the meantime, it does seem like Putin bit off more than he can chew in the Ukraine, eh? And even if he gets the military victory he wants, he'll be dealing with partisans popping his Soldier's heads off at long range for years to come. Not a well thought out plan.
'Ol Pootie Poot doesn't seem to have the chops he once had, nor the actual brainpower. Is the the entire world being ruled by senile communists or is it just the USA?
Looks like Putin got into an emotional bind. For Russians, the Ukraine IS part of Mother Russia (Rodina). The Corruptocrats in the Ukraine are no different than those that he evicted from Moscow. Bidenites, all. The Ukrainians, however all remember the Holodomor where Russians stole the food and starved 6-12 million Ukrainians to death. The Russian Army had a plan for conquest that was way too complex.
ReplyDeleteRussian has the mass to crush the Ukraine but that might leave them vulnerable to China or that might awaken the sleeping NATO.. Too many problems on too many fronts. Plus the problem of economics, trade and investment. Russia needs to sell natural gas, oil, and minerals. Crushing the Ukraine might reactivate the U.S. energy industry and might convince Europe and the U.S. to find alternative sources for the minerals ( like titanium from Russian, and Neon gas from what used to be the Ukraine). Putin is facing a hard choice. Grift to the financial community (and to Hunter Biden) only get him so far.
Putin just like Biden doesn't care if his troops get sniped for years to come. Example: the 13 dead American military kids killed in Afghanistan, Biden, democrats or the media do not care about those 13 kids or their families. Until politicians and media families start being killed there will be no change.
