Good times, good times

There's one less slash pile on the property.  Lots of chores that the parents had to do that they don't have to do for a while.

My hands smell like gasoline.  Not from the slash pile.  Long story.

I was listening to turkeys in the woods while deer crossed our field and the slash pile fire warmed my back.

I can't tell you how much I love coming back here.

  2. Probably won't make St. Joans. I don't quite know when we're heading back but I have to be at work on Monday.

  3. You get tired of the circus in SLC, I’ve got an old cabin to dismantle & salvage and a new one to build…..

  4. It's a little cold up there right now. I don't think the Mrs. would appreciate the vacation.

  6. I've got jogging at -30. It convinced me that it wasn't very much fun to be outside at -30.

In all seriousness, at -20 the wife doesn't go outside. I would be jogging, she would be curled on the couch wondering why she married an idiot.
