You can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once. - Robert A. Heinlein -

Zero Bandwidth
Folks, if I could attempt to explain why I haven't posted, it's because my internet speeds resemble a 14.4k modem. The only time I've been in town, where I could get wi-fi, was when I was running crap to the dump. So please excuse my lack of posting for the next week. I'll do what I can. Until then, might I suggest my blogroll over on the right?

Here's a good example of why the magic face diapers of submission don't work
Folks, the reason doctors wear masks is two-fold. One, they prevent BACTERIAL infection. Bacteria are much larger than a virus. Two, they help cover the doctor if the patient gets all squirty. Ask any ER nurse, and they've had "squirty" patients.
The magic face diapers of submission to not do a DAMN THING to prevent a virus.
Stop wearing them. Wash your hands. Wash your hands again. Use paper towels to open the doors of public restrooms. I use hand sanitizer to wipe down any public surface I'm going to be using for eating. Hell, Purel makes antiseptic wipes, use those.
But the masks? It's bullshit.
I used to be able to see the Milky Way from my front yard
Now? There's enough light pollution in North Idaho that I can see the stars, most of them, but the galaxy is a lost cause.
The packs of coyotes are still here. They're lighting off every night right now. It's fun to listen to.
My brother and I have done 3+ cords of wood in two days. We still have quite a bit of space to fill up, along with other chores that need to be done. It's been a ball-buster of a week and we're only half through.
More later. Once I'm not working all day.

What's that old saying about firewood?
It heats you twice, once when you cut it and once when you burn it?
My brother and I are busting through about eight cords of wood right now for the parents, and I think I drank two gallons of water today trying to stay hydrated. Holy crap. The heat can go away now.

Just a gentle reminder
If you find yourself in your vehicle and surrounded by Antifa, put your foot on the gas and do not stop until you are far, far away from them. And if that means you run their asses over, then you do it.
Run them over. It's your life or theirs. The guy they beat is unresponsive and in the hospital. He's most likely going to die, or be brain damaged for life if he ever wakes up.
Run. Them. Over.
On Sunday night, antifa rioters in Portland beat up a blonde woman, then followed a truck driver, making him crash. After he crashed, the mob pushed him away from the truck, forced him down on the ground, searched for his keys, and then kicked him in the head, leaving him bleeding on the pavement. The incident involved a man wearing a black bulletproof vest with the word “SECURITY” on the back. Videos showed the same man escorting a man away from an antifa/Black Lives Matter protest, then assaulting a transgender bystander earlier in the night. Rioters indiscriminately referred to their prey with the N-word.

Things that are hard to do
The bass is carrying the rhythm, but the three tenors are doing yeoman's work on the harmonies.

I've noticed I've had fewer instances of illness since I started taking vitamin D
In fact, I can count the times I've been seriously ill on one hand, when you take out the times I was sick from black mold in Army buildings.
I also spend a lot more time out doors, which has to help as well. Fresh air and sunshine do more for your health than any amount of pills.
“For each standard-deviation increase in serum 25-hydroxy-Vitamin D, the risk of a severe outcome was reduced eightfold, and the risk of a critical outcome was reduced 20-fold.”

Music for Sunday
I'm back in the woods with little to no internet, so you'll just have to be happy with what I can provide you on limited access.
You're going to want to put this on good speakers. Trust me.
