Allergies lead to mucous.  Mucous leads to virus breeding grounds.  And that leads to Dave sitting his ass on the couch with a roll of tissue to try to stem the stream of shot currently exiting his nose.

I am ready to head back north.

  1. Dave - I have one word for you - guaifenesin. It will thin the mucus and make it easier to get rid of it. Don't take it if it's mixed with cough or cold meds. Just plain ol' guaifenesin.

  2. The doc gave me a four-in-one pill, due to the rather large amount of pain in my throat. Should normal methods fail and I don't improve, I have a Z-pac that I will start taking on Saturday.

Dammit, I'm NOT going to be sick for Christmas.

  3. You can still take the guaifenesin, Dave. Trust me - it will help.
