Please start saying Masses and having devotions for reparation and for deliverance from the assaults of the Enemy. We have tried and true spiritual weapons, if only we would dust them off, polish them up, and use them. Enough of this mealy-mouthed excuse making and temporizing. Enough of this rubbish about all the really important things that fill the clerical day, like committees and meetings. If you are going to have a meeting, meet about how we have to do reparation, who will be unlocking the church for Exposition and Rosaries and Novena and CONFESSIONS.
Priests and bishops, for the love of all that is Holy, use your mighty spiritual weapons given by Orders and Holy Church’s own authoritative, tried and true Tradition.
And, I’ll say it again and again and again… the Devil HATES LATIN. Let’s stop fooling around. Put the .22 long rifle away and start with the .50 cal already. The time for the MaDeuce of our sacred liturgical worship is NOW. Extraordinary Form, brothers. Stop fooling around. If you Latins out there don’t know and can’t use your whole Latin Rite, then.. who the hell are you, anyway? C’mon guys!
If you want to know whether or not your parish is converged, there are a couple of ways to tell. The plainest way is simple: Does your priest(s) hold to tradition, or are they modern? If they're modern, if they are wishy-washy when it comes to the sacraments, (giving the eucharist to people living in sin, for example), if they try to say "Oh, it's not a gay thing" when 100% of the sexual assaults going on in seminaries are male-on-male, then you can be sure that your parish is in trouble.
What, you never thought of it in those terms? A Catholic seminary is all men. We have no female priests. Therefore, when the bishops are sexually assaulting seminarians it is 100% male-on-male assault. Tell me again how it's not a gay thing?
We, the laity, have the right to demand that our priests and our bishops serve us faithfully. And if they refuse to do so, we have the right to withhold our money from the diocese. Support your local parish by all means, but take your money and turn it towards charity that doesn't allow homosexual rapists to continue their march towards power.
Push back against the fallacies of Jorge Bergolio. The Lavender Mafia may have elected him Pope, but that doesn't make him God.
And do not ever forget - men might fail the Church, but the Church won't fail you. You might be out in the wilderness for a bit; sometimes that's a good thing if civilization is more like Sodom and Gomorrah.
Too funny! I was going to ask you if your were following some of Father Z's most recent posts.
ReplyDeleteAll of sudden he is starting to sound like Ann Barnhardt who, whether we like her delivery or not, was pretty much dead on from the beginning.
I particularly like when he talks about the "savagery" of homosexuals and says to ask any police officer or emergency room person about that little factoid. I remember telling my husband about that almost 40 years ago.
On a happier note, at the Mass for the Assumption I struck up a convo after Mass with the lady sitting behind me. Turns out she's a 3 week revert after 40 years. She's already been to confession and attends the high Mass every Sunday. How did she end up at St. Joan's? She bought a crucifix and wanted it blessed. She called many parishes and the only one who returned her call was St. Joan's. It was meant to be!
When I said something about Vat II she said, "What's that?" We forget that many pew potatoes - including reverts, have no idea of what's been going on for 50+ years. I did not enlighten her. I simply welcomed her home and suggested we do coffee some Sunday.
Happy weekend, Dave...
