Paul Ryan once again caves to the Democrats

If this Omnibus bill passes, the GOP can kiss away all control of Congress for the next six years.

“We buckled,” said Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA) of congressional Republicans’ negotiations on Capitol Hill regarding a $1.3 trillion omnibus appropriations bill scheduled for a vote on Wednesday night.
Congressman Brat joined SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Tonight for an interview with co-hosts Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak moments before entering the House to cast his vote.

It's apparent that the GOP establishment still hasn't learned that business as usual is not the way to go.  If they think the Tea Party was unpleasant, what's about to get thrown at them will make the Tea Party look like a tempest in a tea pot.  The Freedom Caucus gets it, but the GOP establishment would rather cut off their own dicks than listen to people who actually represent their constituents.  One GOP Representative who actually gets it is this guy:

And I agree with the sentiment here:  Veto this crap.  Period.

  1. did you honestly expect any other result? there are two ways to fix this ongoing debacle which is the federal government.... open revolt or term limits for duly elected criminals. since the crooks wont impose limits on themselves, we may just be forced into the former.

  2. I live in Michigan. I have a Republican Representative and two Democratic Senators. All three of the assholes voted for this embarrassment. I was in contact with all of them for the last month on it, and of course, the only one who said they were against it because of the gun rights violations was the Republican, and he caved. Chickenshit, he will not get my vote ever again.

  3. I'm lucky. All my representation from Idaho voted against it. Makes me proud. But I'm thinking this is the straw that breaks the camel's back for the 2018 elections. The GOP just fucked themselves hard. Again.
