In another interview with his longtime atheist friend, Eugenio Scalfari, Pope Francis claims that Hell does not exist and that condemned souls just "disappear." This is a denial of the 2,000-year-old teaching of the Catholic Church about the reality of Hell and the eternal existence of the soul.
The interview between Scalfari and the Pope was published March 28, 2018 in La Repubblica. The relevant section on Hell was translated by the highly respected web log, Rorate Caeli.
Jorge Bergolio is many things. He's a sodomite, most likely a pedophile or at least an enabler of pedophelia. He's a man of middling intelligence, who rode his Marxist ideology to the top of the Catholic hierarchy and has no plans to stop now. But what Jorge Bergolio is NOT is a faithful servant of God. What Bergolio is NOT is a believer in Jesus Christ and His Church. Stop and think about that for a minute. Bergolio doesn't actually believe a word of Church doctrine. And he most certainly doesn't follow God.
Further, the existence of hell and eternal damnation is a proofset of God’s love and RESPECT for us. If God didn’t really love us, if He didn’t respect us AS RATIONAL INTELLECTS that are free to choose our actions, then soul annihilation is EXACTLY what He would do. The fact is that the “god” Antipope Bergoglio is describing is a being DEVOID OF LOVE, who has less than zero respect for humanity. Antipope Bergoglio is trying to convince the world that satan is God, and that satan in his “mercy” will just snuff you out of existence if “things don’t work out”. No harm, no foul.
If God just started snuffing beings out of existence when they made a choice that wasn’t in accord with His will, wouldn’t that cheapen all life and existence to the point of meaninglessness? Wouldn’t all rational beings just be mere object-playthings at that point? Yep.The way things are going, I fully expect to be expelled from a Catholic Church sometime in my lifetime, simply for the fact that I follow God and expect priests to do the same. Jorge Bergolio has already caused some priests to omit his name during the Mass, for the simple fact that these priests can see by his works that he's not a man of God. If the Catholic Church continues down this path, there's another schism in the works.
