That's about all that needs to be said, innit? Time for Juan, Pablo and Guadalupe to head back home. The rule of law once again means something, even if just for a tiny bit.
Oh, and the protests outside the White House where the illegal aliens are screaming in SPANISH? Yeah, that's a GREAT way to show how American you are!
THANK YOU> So much for the false notion that this is the only country and culture they know.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm not going to win any popularity contests with this, but I propose a path to--resident alien status, which will NOT ( by specification ) allow so called dreamers to enjoy all the benefits of Citizens; THEY MUST MEET ALL CONDITIONS NEEDED TO APPLY FOR CONSIDERATION FOR NATURALIZATION. Must be self supporting ( CANNOT apply for, nor receive any form of welfare ), MUST be non criminal ( ANY criminal offense and out they go- AFTER sentence served ),and, IF after a probationary period of say, 2 years starting when they applied for consideration for resident alien status )they may then apply for consideration for naturalization, LIKE ANY OTHER FOREIGN NATIONAL WANTING TO STAY HERE FOR THE BENEFITS OF CITIZENSHIP. IF they are selected, they may then proceed with same. If they fail to finish, or do not succeed, out they go. If citizenship is not what they want, out they go. If they do not continue to meet any of the requirements, out they go. If they fail to complete in the allotted minimum time to do so, out they go. End of story. DNA should be basis for Identification, as will as photo evidence, to avoid fraud. NOBODY gets "Grandfathered". They want a legal way in, there is a legal way in. If they don't like it, tough.
