wimp..... lol im on a quick tdy to nome to help out our mechanics for a rew days. its in the low 20's in nome. some 50 degrees warmer than at my house..... so you're 70-80 degrees warmer...
I remember seeing a friend just after he rode from Palm Springs to Newport Beach on a naked bike...in July...in the middle of a heat wave. He had worn only street clothes. He looked ready to die of hypothermia.
I'm going shopping for heated gloves next week. I have enough gear to mostly keep me warm, but a heated vest or coat liner wouldn't suck either. If I can stay warm, then I'll ride any day the pavement is dry.
p2 - see lots of motorcycles out and about up in Nome?
hell dude....I'm stuck here coz Alaska airlines can't get their 737 thru the crap weather. 1/4 mile visibility, 500 foot ceilings.. couldn't see a motorcycle if there were any.....lol

ReplyDeleteHeated electric vest and/or chaps. It's like riding in summer sunshine.
