I can handle the cold

But an hour and a half on the motorcycle and highway speeds when it's 40-50 degrees does chill a man.

Just sayin.

  2. I remember seeing a friend just after he rode from Palm Springs to Newport Beach on a naked bike...in July...in the middle of a heat wave. He had worn only street clothes. He looked ready to die of hypothermia.

  3. Heated electric vest and/or chaps. It's like riding in summer sunshine.

  4. I'm going shopping for heated gloves next week. I have enough gear to mostly keep me warm, but a heated vest or coat liner wouldn't suck either. If I can stay warm, then I'll ride any day the pavement is dry.

p2 - see lots of motorcycles out and about up in Nome?
