Most of America has.  Most of America doesn't want to be reminded that there's evil in the world.

But evil does exist.

It never rests, and it won't end until the second coming of Jesus Christ.  Which, according to most of the folks I know (Crazy Bob on the corner not counting) is quite a ways away.

Looking at the country today, I don't see what I saw fourteen years ago.  I don't see that resolve.  Maybe it's still there.  I don't know.

All I can do is be prepared.  But I will also be prepared to watch people die, as the sheep go back to sleep willfully listening to the lullaby from a wolf and ignoring the desperate howls of the sheepdog.
