Jonathan Gruber, long credited as the architect of ObamaCare, once discussed the necessity of taxing fat people by body weight in order to fight obesity.
“Ultimately, what may be needed to address the obesity problem are direct taxes on body weight,” Gruber wrote in an essay for the National Institute for Health Care Management in April 2010, just months after helping design ObamaCare with the president in the Oval Office and during the period in which he was under contract as an Obama administration consultant.
That's the thing about tyrants - they never stop ruling your life. From top to bottom, the ProgNazis want to tell you what to do, how to act, who to be, what to wear, what to eat, where to live, HOW to live.
Now, if that doesn't scare you, then consider the fact that if the government starts taxing body weight, it uses a Body Mass Index that considered Michael Jordan to be "obese" during his playing days.
Dude had maybe 10% body fat on him, max. Ran up and down a court every night. And because he had enough muscle on his frame to withstand playing the game, the government considered him "obese".
And Gruber wants to tax "obese" people.
