Pipe Tobacco part 1

This stuff right here smells like an aromatic when you smoke it, but smokes like an English tobacco.  Damn good stuff.

The Mrs. like the smell of it, which is damn near unbelievable.

  1. I'm proud of myself. I resisted. I read the reviews, pondered it to the point of salivating, and it was too late to water down the Knob Creek. Yet I prevailed. Praise be.

Mac Baren's HH Old Dark Fired and HH Vintage Syrian are incomming, as well as Three Blind Moose and Catamount. I like both English/Balkans and aromatics, but don't have the need for a hybrid of both. At least not until I get a 'what the hell' moment and pull the trigger.

    Cheers

  2. Three Blind Moose? Where'nthehell do you find that?

    Wait, my Google-Fu is strong!

Hmmmmm.... butterscotch? Might be worth a try.

  3. Well I'm going in blind (no pun) with most of that order, so don't consider it a recomendation, althouhg I do recommend 4noggins wholeheartedly. I've found tobacco tastes are just too subjective to look at reviews as much more than entertainment.

With that said, I also have incomming blind Sutliff's Molto Dolce which aromatic lovers rave about, and which seems to be one of the top 'wife approved' if not wife requested smoke. Hell, even the great JimInks, a decidedly non-aro guy, say if you smoke that and you're single, you won't be for long!

Me, well, I gauge the success of my day by how much I've displeased the broads here and about; I still believe in meritocracy. But if you have a woman who deserves such consideration, than you are luckier than you might imagine.

    Cheers
    Dave.
