The neighbor has an orange tree

That is as old as his house.  And these houses were build in the late 40's, early 50's.  I've never had oranges this good or this juicy.  The flavor is better than any other oranges I've had, and I can get gallons of juice from one picking session.  I have no idea what kind of oranges they are, just that it's a tree that hasn't been messed with genetically all that much.  It might be a hybrid, but it's far too old to really be GMO.

So with that being said, anyone want some seeds?  I set a bunch out to dry after my last juicing session, but realized that I probably won't be anywhere I can plant an orange tree after this tour.

  1. I'd ask... but I think I'm too far north for our place to offer a good growing climate. (I think they have trouble surviving past NC.)

Now, if you had some good apple seeds...
