Great Photo, Dane! Thanks, and I hope all the troops and veterans have found something good about this day. I thank GOD for my opportunity to be with the group that I am with that affords me the chance to support and be with the RI's and their families, of the Swamp School portion of US ARMY RANGER School. 6th RANGER TRAINING BATTALION LEADS THE WAY! HOOAH and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I know how difficult this is, as my 19-yo cousin was mangled by an I.E.D.
He lost one leg below the knee, numerous fingers and he's got 2nd & 3rd degree burns all over. He's lucky to be alive. He's had 3 operations thus far, and he'll have many more to come in the future.
God bless our troops (and now feeling guilty for a rag post I did about someone I was seeing who was in Fallujah in 2004).
It tears at your heartstrings.
Glad to see the blog is still intact. I sincerely hope it doesn't suddenly disappear one day.
