Both via SayUncle. The first is Feed your Family for a Week, where upon you can see in visual detail what it would take to do just that. Although the Ragin' Mrs and I might disagree on the American family. In fact, the food budget for the Ragin' household looks nothing like what's in that picture.

The second link is about a woman prevented from selling Kimchee in a market there in SayUncle's hometown. The Ragin' Mrs is prevented from selling her Spice Rub out and about because it's not made in a commercial kitchen. It's just dry spices, ground and mixed together in various amounts, but we need a commercial kitchen to do it in.
Head scratching. But commenters to that post link to various laws that show how all those hoops were placed in front of us to jump through. Just one more example of how far nanny gummint has invaded our lives.
