The General Speaks

And you had better listen.

David at Random Nuclear Strikes has found a letter from a US Army General who's rather pissed off at the Washington Post right now.

After spending almost three days traveling with and being interviewed by one of the co-writers of a very poorly written article (“Much Undone in Rebuilding Iraq, Audit says”, Washington Post, August 2, 2006), I’m astounded at how distorted a good story can become and what agenda drives a paper to see only the bad side to the reconstruction effort here in Iraq. Instead of distorting the facts, let’s get to the truth.

Being a General, he said things with a much nicer tone than I would have. But that's why he makes the big bucks, while us foul-mouthed NonComs deal with the daily crap.

He's also found a link to this site, which features rather different inspirational posters. (WARNING! WARNING! CONTAINS GAMING CONTENT!) AK has his favorite, but I like a few other ones. Check out the motto for "Chaotic Good". Yeah. I like that.
