Reagan Breaks Curse

Beginning in 1840 and continuing through 1960 before the assassination of John F. Kennedy, presidents elected in every consecutive 20-year administration had died in office.

Then came Ronald Reagan.

Not to be picky, but she claims in her article that JFK was the youngest president. That honor actually goes to Teddy Roosevelt. Kennedy was the youngest elected president. TR became president thanks to the 20 year jinx that took the life of McKinley.

Because of this curse I've thought that if Bush doesn't die before November his re-election is guaranteed. Reagan was special. Good-bye Ronald Reagan.
