The whole "Bush was AWOL" meme is getting a little old, especially after our current troll has brought it up.. oh, about a hundred times. So, if you don't feel like clicking on Bill Hobbs' wonderful link up above (upper left, below blog name, says "Was Bush AWOL"), why don't you read a piece from someone who has a great deal of experience with the National Guard. Wind Rider, from Silent Running has a great piece that explains it much better than I can.

Seriously, at this point anyone who mouths the "Bush was AWOL" crap is either a complete moronic idiot, or so brain damaged that it's hard for them to remember how to breathe.
