STD's are Nature's way of telling you how stupid you are

Stop sticking your dick there, you morons.

A worrying trend in the US shows no signs of stopping: rates of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) continue to rise, with combined cases of syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia hitting a record high in 2018.
That's according to new figures published by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It reported more than 115,000 cases of syphilis, 580,000 cases of gonorrhea, and 1.7 million cases of chlamydia over the course of last year.

Way back when SPC Ragin' Dave was in the MP battalion at Ft. Riley, I had a platoon mate who caught the clap from the same woman, TWICE.  He stuck his dick back in a woman who gave him chlamydia, and got it again.

That's stupidity.  And STD's are nature's way of telling you that you're a moron.

Maybe if people didn't succumb to the Cult of the Almighty Orgasm, they wouldn't be screwing every dirty shitbag and catching Satan's little gift that keeps on giving.  But that this point I feel like an old man yelling at clouds, for all the good I do.  All I can really do in real life is point and laugh.

Home on the Range

Lots of open range out near Arches National Park.  The Ragin' Mrs. snapped this photo as we were driving through the La Sal National Forest.

And of course we finished up at a few more arches.  This is the Double Arch, for obvious reasons.

You can see some people climbing the rocks in the bottom of the photo, so that gives you a little sense of scale.

A rare picture of a Ragin' Dave in the wild

That's me and my mom under the Delicate Arch.  I should have had the Ragin' Mrs. get closer, but hey, I know who it is, and that's all that matters

Why are so many "experts" dumpster fires of stupidity and arrogance?

Like Kyle Frese.  We, the Normal People of the USA, pay this garbage employee a shitpot full of money every month to do what, exactly?  Apparently, we pay him a lot of money to travel around the world and bad-mouth this country.

Every time you hold up a government "expert" to the light, what is revealed is a shallow, vapid shell of a human, probably corrupt, definitely incompetent, who holds we Normal Americans in contempt and who never fails to show it.

Power corrupts, but the already corrupt are attracted to power.  The more power that gets concentrated in the shitty cesspool known as Washington D.C., the more corrupt, soul-less assholes flock there in the hope that they get to wield power against Normal Americans.

Kyle Frese is a garbage employee, and I hope he enjoys jail.  It's about damn time that a government employee actually be held to the standards to which they hold us Normal Americans on a regular basis.

Master and Commander

Probably one of my favorite movies of all time.  And the musical soundtrack was just perfect.

This is in my "at home, studying" playlist.

And guess what I'm doing today?

Go ahead, guess.  Of course, I won't be here to tell you if you're wrong or right, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

This here is on my playlist

For when I'm going to be driving for a while...

I'm not sure I mentioned this or not, so.....

If I have mentioned it before, please forgive my failing memory.

My grandfather was in the Navy in World War II.  I knew he had brothers, but I didn't know much more than that.  My dad never really talked about his aunts and uncles, and the one story he told me about his grandfather (my great-grandfather) is remarkable in its singularity.

There were four boys in my grandfather's family.  At the start of World War II, three of them joined the Navy (not uncommon for farm boys from South Dakota), and one joined the Army.  The Navy boys made it home.  The Army boy was thought to have been killed in action in 1944 in Germany, his body was never recovered.

However, the Army has always kept searching for it's missing Soldiers, and bringing their remains home.  For example, this Soldier who died in the Pacific was returned home to Florida.  There's a mortuary unit who's sole job is to identify the discovered remains of US service-members and get them back home.

A little while back, they found an unmarked grave with thirteen bodies laid to rest, outside of a small German town.  The mortuary unit was sent.  Identification was performed.  And my great-uncle will finally be laid to rest near my grandparents later this month.

I don't know what hell he went through before he died.  I have had the great honor and privilege to speak to combat veterans of a few WWII campaigns, and what combat situations these men described to me sounded like hell, or at least a trek to Hell's doorstep.

So as you either go to or return from your place of worship today, please say a prayer for the soul of PFC Donald Mangan.
