Don't Believe the Dimocrats

When they claim to care about the troops. It's a lie.

Whenever leftists need to show they really, really do care more about the troops than their political opponents, they pull out the armor card. Hillary Clinton did it a year ago. A Rumsfeld-bashing reporter bragged about coaching a soldier into spotlighting the armor gap two years ago. (See below for links to blog posts on the subject published over the last three years.)

Now, following a Feb. 11 WaPo story, "Thousands of Army Humvees Lack Armor Upgrade," the armor shortage is again a rallying cry of the Left as it prepares to defund the war. The New York Times editorial board has a born-again interest in the matter. Democrat strategist Julie Roginsky also repeated the meme on tonight's O'Reilly Factor. And, natch, Ted Kennedy is on the bandwagon.

And yet, the Democrats American Communist Party is the group of loathsome slimebuckets who are behind the "slow bleed" approach to forcing defeat in Iraq. The same cockroaches who can't be honest enough to stand up and say "Yes, I voted for the war in Iraq" because it'll hurt their re-election chances.

And let's be blunt, shall we? All you have to do is look at the Democrat's American Communist Party's actions, and more importantly the actions of their constituents, to see that the Democrats American Communist Party HATES THE TROOPS WITH EVERY FIBER OF THEIR BEING. They only claim to care about the troops in order to gain power in D.C., and if they thought they could gain MORE power by slowly killing every American soldier and pouring our blood onto the Arabian sands, they would do so. Any supposed claim of "caring about the troops" that comes from those anti-American communist clusterfucks can be ignored, because it's nothing but political bullshit.

The Democrats American Communist Party cares about power, and nothing else. To them, the troops are just one more pawn to be used in their quest to obtain power, and they'll bleed us all dry in the process.

Blogging so I don't have to

Hell Yes.

Fuck the Democrats for this. Fuck every last one of them, in the heart. May each and every one of them, from the corrupt slimeball Murtha on down to the lowliest surrender-monkey staffer, rot in hell. I question their patriotism, I question their courage, I question their good sense, I question their very humanity. This is simply inexcusable.

You Democrats, with far too few exceptions, are a disgrace to the sacrifices made by our forefathers, and you have no business referring to yourselves as Americans. Since when is it the Congress’s mandate to run foreign policy, anyway? You bitch, piss, and moan all this time about Bush’s supposedly unscrupulous expansion of executive power, and here you are doing much, much worse — the difference being, he’s trying to win a war, and you’re trying to lose one, for partisan political purposes and nothing more. From anyone else, such behavior would be difficult to comprehend; for you dregs, it’s just another day at the office.

And how dare you craven shitsuckers try to hide behind the flag as you sell our men and women in uniform down the river to protect your election prospects? How dare you claim to “support the troops,” or to have their best interests at heart, at the same time you’re busy planning how to cut them off at the knees, and in such a way as to avoid taking any responsibility for your naked breach of trust and honor? Where do you yellowbellied milksop pieces of shit get the balls to even propose such a lowdown, calculating, plain-old dirty sellout as this?

If each and every one of you had your empty heads sawed off by some screeching Islamofascist tomorrow, it’d be no more than you merit for your appalling treachery. You should be deeply, mortally ashamed of your worthless selves.

I'm waiting for the day when real Americans have had enough of the traitorous rat bastards and pick up their rifles. The Democrats have gone from being simple shitheads to being truly anti-American.

It really is that simple.

I am hosed

Got the laptop back about two weeks ago. Didn't play with it much, because I haven't had the time. Finally sat down today, got online a bit, and decided to put a CD in a listen to music while I surfed.

Guess what the computer didn't recognize? The CD-ROM drive. I shit you not.

So, I played around with it a bit. Finally saw the drive listed. I opened up the drive, put a CD in and closed it. Seemed to work. I opened up the CD drive to take the CD out. The moment the drive opened, the entire computer shut off. No warning, no blue screen of death, just instant shut-off. Bam. I tried to get it to start again. Nothing. I could press the damn power button all day long for the good it would do me.

I really don't know if I can tell you how pissed off I am. It has now been two months since I've had my laptop working. I will never buy another Compaq product again. Ever. Hell, I won't buy an HP product at all, since they're now the parent company of Compaq. Dealing with HP customer service has been like pulling hen's teeth, and I'm thisclose to just shipping the fucking hunk of shit back to them in ten million pieces and telling them to shove each and every piece up their ass.

But I can't afford to buy another computer. How bad is this? I have a laptop that doesn't work, and I can't afford to buy a new one. I'm hosed.

Once I get the money, I'm buying a Mac. I am officially done with Compaq, HP, and Microshaft just as soon as I can afford it.

Appeal for Courage

Is just what it says it is.

As an American currently serving my nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to fully support our mission in Iraq and halt any calls for retreat. I also respectfully urge my political leaders to actively oppose media efforts which embolden my enemy while demoralizing American support at home. The War in Iraq is a necessary and just effort to bring freedom to the Middle East and protect America from further attack.

If you're a military person, you may want to check it out.

Too Young

I was part of another funeral detail today.

This soldier died because of an accident. A stupid accident. As far as I know, we're still losing more soldiers to accidents than we are to actual combat. I was NCOIC of the rifle team once again.

It's hard to lose anybody. I don't think there are adequate words in the English language for the sheer grief that the family and friends feel when they lose someone. But somehow, and I don't want to make light of anyone's grief, somehow I think it's worse when a person dies young because of a stupid accident. When my grandfather died, at the age of 93, I was able to console myself with the fact that he had lived a full, long life, got to do all the things he wanted to do. His funeral was less about mourning than it was a celebration of his life and everything he accomplished. But this woman was younger than I was. She hadn't had a real chance to live yet.

And after all, a funeral is for the living. You can try to dispute that all you want, but the dead don't care. They are beyond the physical realm, and I don't think they care if their casket cost five grand or ten grand, so long as people honor what they did in life. But the living need the ceremony of a funeral. There is a great history behind a military funeral, but one of the most important things that the ceremony provides is a living reminder that WE DO NOT FORGET. It's in the Soldier's Creed: I will never leave a fallen comrade behind. The military funeral is part of that creed. When the family and friends see the soldiers standing at Parade Rest with their rifles, or marching to the hearse to accept the body and carry it to the final resting place, the family, the living family sees that their loved one is not forgotten. It shows the family that their loved one MEANT something. They had a purpose, and people remember their loved one in a significant way. And there is a finality in a twenty-one gun salute that cannot be described. It is a literal expression of "Your job is done. Lay down your burden and let us take up the flag."

It has to be experienced to be understood.

Let me just say now that I do not want to be buried. I want to be cremated, preferably in the Viking style. Toss my body into a wooden boat, douse me with oil, push the boat into the ocean and light that sucker on fire. Instead of a tombstone, I want a marble and oak headstone that contains a cigar humidor and a tap that dispenses Guinness. Put it in the local Legion post or VFW.

I know this is kind of rambling, but I'm in a bit of an odd mindset right now. And I hope you can understand why I didn't post much today.

"...why are you staying????"

American Leftists will never answer that question, Raging Missus.

They just deride it.

Despite the fact that Leftists consider America to be a

gluttonous
greedy
polluting
warmongering
avaricious
racist
sexist
xenophobic
jingoistic
zealot-filled
misogynist
exploitative
ignorant

nation, they couldn't be dragged out of here by ten Abrams and a C-5.

Just a little reminder..

I mean, with all the Leftists in America decrying Ronald Reagan's legacy whenever possible, sometimes it gets a little hard to remember just what he accomplished.

However, the people who were rescued from the bootheel of communism remember who was responsible for it.

Howard Mechanic aka Gary Tredway

I found myself watching a special about Gary Tredway. If you google Gary Tredway you will find many articles about Howard Mechanic. These articles are from news sources like the Jewish News of greater Pheonix, where he hid as a politican, and the Nuclear Resister that was trying to show him support. The reality is that this man is a liar and a fraud, who was busted by Penny Overton, a reporter for Scottsdale Tribune. I think the most factual article was written by Jana Bommersbach.

Wikipedia best summarizes this drama
"Howard Mechanic (a.k.a. Gary Tredway) was an undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis who was accused of hurling a cherry bomb into the university's ROTC building in May 1970, accusations that he denied. He was charged under the Civil Obedience Act of 1968, and was sentenced to prison. During his appeals, he fled and lived under the assumed name of Gary Tredway in Scottsdale, Arizona for thirty years, but his identity as Howard Mechanic became known when he ran for local office. He was discovered during an interview with a local reporter who became suspicious after a background check. After using a number mistruths to try to dissuade the reporter from publishing the story, including claiming to have Leukemia and donating 25% of his earnings to charity, she reported on the story anyway. He was imprisoned but received a pardon by President Bill Clinton in January 2001."

I am not at all impressed that Clinton pardoned this imposter. But, I do question what the FBI was doing for the 30 years he was on their list. You would think that someone would catch that, the face didn't change. It took a reporter to bring him to justice.
*****************************************************************
The thing that really caught my attention in all of this was a catch phrase from that era, "

AMERICA-LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT

I think this is an absolutely beautiful phrase.
It summarizes how I, and many others feel.

I was fortunate enough to find some websites selling goods with this ideal:

Unfortunately this has also become a loathsome question for those of the left-wing not to answer. They consider it infantile and think that it is a sign of a repressed society where you aren't allowed to speak out.

There is a modernized, longer version of it with which I agree

If you think America sucks so much
then move to whatever socialist/communist country you think is so wonderful.

After all, if it is that great there, and so horrible here, why are you staying????

the many PUSSIES in our world

As the "Pussification of the Western Male" has been topic for quite a while. I thought I might just share a variety of "pussy's" with you:

Lets start with the GI Joe of Pussy's: all American and proud to show it!

The next is the Pin-up of Pussy's. Think Pam Anderson and the twins, Marilyn or maybe Betty Gable ...

Last but definately least is the left wing pussy. This pussy possesses attributes of both the Jellyfish and Cameleon and is envious of the male seahorse. You can also find this one in the bar on a Saturday night failing to get lucky.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce...

BOZO THE PUSSY

pride and prejudism

Living in Puerto Rico, I have had great epiphanies about prejudism. I have never seen any purpose for or experienced prejudice before we came here. As a white woman, shy of going into the "wrong neighborhoods" I can usually expect to be welcome most anywhere, except maybe a "Gentlemans Club(where the only women should be waitstaff)". I have never understood why Black people who have experienced pejudice from White people hated the whole culture so much and developed something I consider a loathsome, hateful attitude, that tends toward self perpetuation. The prejudice that a lot of us feel is often minor slights that, if were only occasional could be overlooked, but it is a regular occurrence. The things that are noticed the most are what fouls the refs call in team sports, and if peoples ID's are checked or not. As I said, it is little slights. For example, my sister spent some time in the DC area. She would frequently go horseback riding with some of her co-workers, a few of which were black. When they went to the stable and picked out the horses, the saddles on the black girls horses, were loose. But, if they called ahead all of the saddles were properly adjusted. This was experienced on multiple occasions. Still, something that if experience rarely could be an oversight, but regularly is more than a coincidence. With the experience of the attitude, you really begin to feel and believe that it is US VS THEM!!! It takes a great deal of self control to not portray that attitude in your actions. Being the outsider you must always watch your wording for fear of being labeled prejudice yourself. After a while you learn to expect this behavior, and that has been a terrible price to my emotional well being. Once you expect the behavior, you want to withdrawl from the undesired attitudes. At this point it is difficult at best not to portray the attitudes that you have been victim to...
and the cycle begins again.

As much as I, and many others from the Continental 48 feel this constant pressure every day, we also have to remind ourselves that there are many natives that envy us for not having been here forever, and having an out in a few years. There are many who are welcoming of us and believe that we can help create change for the better.

I would challenge anyone who has experienced prejudice to rise above it, to the best of their ability and count their blessings each and every day. This does not mean to ignore it, not at all. If you are able to make a change, do so! You have a voice, USE IT! But, do not let the devil get you down, fight the system and prove that you are better than that. Do not perpetuate the cycle.

I am sorry if some feel this post is preachy. It comes from my heart. I am saddened to have the experience to need to write this post. I hate the loss of innocence that was paid for it, for me and all who have lost it.

People do not think...
A person does:)

Two points

Domestic: US Tax Revenues Up 9.7% through four months, Deficit Down 57%

What's in the news? Anna Nichole Smith. Disaster in Iraq. Usual Democrat American Communist Party propaganda.

Bush's tax cuts work. Flat out, plain and simple, CANNOT BE DENIED. But the Has-Been Media doesn't want to tell you that.

Foreign: Iranian weapons found in Iraq. More precisely, rifles bought by Iran, easily traced, in the hands of terrorists in Iraq.

Will the spineless politicians do anything about it? Doubtful. That would take balls, which our current crop of congresscritters simply don't have.

The Steyr HS50

Some overdue business

First, if you haven't checked out the NRSC Pledge, please do so.

If the United States Senate passes a resolution, non-binding or otherwise, that criticizes the commitment of additional troops to Iraq that General Petraeus has asked for and that the president has pledged, and if the Senate does so after the testimony of General Petraeus on January 23 that such a resolution will be an encouragement to the enemy, I will not contribute to any Republican senator who voted for the resolution. Further, if any Republican senator who votes for such a resolution is a candidate for re-election in 2008, I will not contribute to the National Republican Senatorial Committee unless the Chairman of that Committee, Senator Ensign, commits in writing that none of the funds of the NRSC will go to support the re-election of any senator supporting the non-binding resolution.

Money talks, people. We need to fix the GOP, and letting them know that they won't get a damn cent of support from us unless they start listening to the people who elect them is a good start.

Second, I also recommend checking out the Victory Caucus.

We support victory in the war against radical Islamists. We supported the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and we believe victory is necessary in both countries for America's self-defense.

We believe that the radical regime in Iran, while not representative of the Iranian people, is a menace and that it cannot be allowed to obtain or build nuclear weapons.

We believe that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization that has killed hundreds of Americans and which waged war against Israel in violation of every law of war this past summer, and will do so again in the future.

We believe Israel is our ally and friend and deserves the full assistance of the United States in its battle with radical Islamists. We believe that Israel has repeatedly shown its willingness to negotiate a just and lasting peace, but that its enemies do not want peace, but the destruction of Israel.

We believe that the American military is the finest in the world and indeed in history, well led and superbly trained, and populated at every level by America's best and brightest.

We support the troops, and those organizations which assist the wounded in their recoveries and support the families of those who sacrificed everything.

We support leaders who support victory.

Victory. Period. Not "Peace with Honor" which is Democrat American Communist Party shorthand for "Wait until no one is looking, then run away and screw our allies over." Not "phased withdrawl". We withdraw when the enemy is good and gone. Not "redeployment". That's a horseshit phrase for "Cut and Run". As Emperor Misha puts it so eloquently:

They can end it, right fucking now, by getting down on their fucking knees and begging us to stop. And frankly, anything less than that is nothing short of a defeat for us, and I don’t handle defeats very well. They tend to piss me off, and I get decidedly unpleasant when I’m pissed off.

So don’t give me any blather about “acceptable outcomes”, because there IS only ONE acceptable outcome, and that is us winning. There is the winner, and then there are the “also rans”, and I don’t much like belonging to the latter, because they’re worthless pukes. If you’re some metrosexual loser who can live with that, I’d much appreciate it if you’d just find a nice gun and eat a bullet from it, because you’re only fucking up my gene pool by continuing to waste oxygen.

(.....)

I mean, do you idiots really think that you can just opt out of wars? OK, so I have to confess something here, and that is the fact that I thought, back during the Cold War, just as everybody else stupid enough to volunteer for fighting in it (I was one of those stupid people), that once that one was over, if it was ever to be over, there would be no wars ever again. Heck, we dreamed about that fantasy world all the time because none of us really wanted to die, and then all of a sudden it happened, thanks to the Gipper. The Cold War was over, and we could all go back to dancing with the fucking unicorns and living high and mighty off of the Peace Dividend, right?

Wrong.

As long as there’s somebody in this world who has something that somebody else wants, there’ll be wars.

It’s uncomfortable, but it’s the truth.

And the only way to keep that bastard from taking away what’s yours is to kick him in the fucking nuts until he loses interest in your possessions because the pain in his scrotum distracts him from chopping your empty head off.

A little note

About Tim's post right below this one re: Marcotte getting fired.

What on earth possessed John Edwards to hire her in the first place? Did he look at what she wrote? Did he bother to do any homework at all? Or did he just say "Oh look, a wymyn blogger! Yeah!"

Because if you wanted to appeal to the loony Left, anti-America crowd, you got it. But if you wanted to appeal to the rest of America, you failed miserably.

While I'm happy she's been relegated back to her own blog, where I don't have to hear about her any more, I gotta admit, I was looking forward to that big target Marcotte painted on Edwards' forhead in '08.

Two can play the Asymmetrical game

Can't they?

Nor do I think that high-profile diplomacy is an appropriate response. We should be responding quietly, killing radical mullahs and iranian atomic scientists, supporting the simmering insurgencies within Iran, putting the mullahs' expat business interests out of business, etc. Basically, stepping on the Iranians' toes hard enough to make them reconsider their not-so-covert war against us in Iraq. And we should have been doing this since the summer 2003.
Yeah.

Shoot, we should be able to do the Asymmetrical thing better than anyone.

At least, until the Democrats demand hearings.

Is it just me

Or have all the celebrity award shows turned into acts of mass masturbation and Leftist propaganda?

I mean, I stopped giving a shit about the Grammies when Milli Vanilli won a damn Grammy. Look, I saw those two jokers on MTV back in the day, and they sucked. But the sad part was that it wasn't them! They sucked, and the song that they lip-synced to sucked, and it was just one big massive event of suckitude. Yet they won a Grammy, which was later taken away.

But they shouldn't have won a Grammy to begin with. THEY SUCKED! Or rather, the people who were actually singing SUCKED! Now, the 80's were a wasteland as far as music was concerned, but even in the 80's, Milli Vanilli fell to depths of suckage that most people couldn't attain if they tried.

And they still won a Grammy. I haven't watched a single Grammy show since then.

Now I find out, that even after being self-relegated to the dustbin of history, the Ditsy Twits have won not just one Grammy, but five of the fucking things.

Huh? They're still making music?

Just like the Oscars, the Grammies have fallen to new lows, which certainly isn't going to make me watch them. In fact, in order for me to begin watching any awards shows again, they'll have to return to something resembling sanity for about five years straight. Until then? Nuthin'. I wouldn't watch the Oscars or the Grammies if you paid me. And let's face it - they're nothing more than masturbatory orgies of people wildly patting themselves on the back for being so witty and cool.

Can anyone name off the last five Oscar Winners for Best Movie? Of the top of your head? I couldn't tell you who won it last year. That's how little I care about all these "awards".

Piss on 'em all. Screeching harpies winning awards I don't care about. They can all just piss up a rope together and then die of jerking off too much.

Holy S**T!

Wait, lemmee say that again - HOLY S**T!

I could give two fucks about WMDs. There were much more important reasons to topple Saddam—terrorism being one of them. The root causes of terrorism are the lack of capitalism, the lack of democracy, and the lack of modern education. What has stood in the way of those things has primarily been the regimes of Iraq, Iran, and Syria. We just got one of them out of the way.

Hommenahommenahommena.....

What makes this so amazing is where this guy comes from:

Making this movie cost me everything. I am a virtual outcast in Hollywood. After photos from a haircut party at Camp Iskandariyah made it back to the States, there were pictures of me with a new Mohawk and die shaved in my chest, and rumors swelled that I had finally snapped and turned into Travis Bickle, De Niro’s character in Taxi Driver. No one in L.A. understood what men in a combat zone would do to break the monotony, to create a chance to laugh. My family will barely speak to me anymore because they lean so far to the left. My soon-to-be fourth ex-wife and I are in a legal battle over visitation rights for our daughter. I know I can’t take care of my kid; I’m going back to Ramadi as soon as possible. It’s terrifying to go there. There’s a 10 percent chance you’re going to die, there’s a 30 percent chance you’re going to be wounded, and there’s a 100 percent chance that hot metal will go flying near your body.

Just. Go. READ!

Found at Cold Fury, who has also been dumpster diving at the Kostard's place and found a true Leftist hero: (The link is to Cold Fury. I don't link to any Kostard post.)

Among many reasons, I hate America for the near-extermination and subsequent oppression of its indigenous population. I hate it for its role in the African slave trade and for dropping atomic bombs on civilians. I hate its control of institutions like the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, and World Trade Organization. I hate it for propping up brutal dictators like Suharto, Pinochet, Duvalier, Hussein, Marcos, and the Shah of Iran. I hate America for its unconditional support for Israel. I hate its bogus two-party system, its one-size-fits-all culture, and its income gap. I could go on for pages but I’ll sum up with this: I hate America for being a hypocritical white supremacist capitalist patriarchy
.

And check this out -

After a paragraph like that, you know what comes next: If you hate America so much, why don’t you leave? Leave America? That would potentially put me on the other end of U.S. foreign policy. No thanks.

As Mike says, this sniveling shitstain hates this country, but he ain't gonna leave it. He's more than happy to accept the benefits of living in America, even while he hates it and tries to tear it down.

THAT, my friends, is the Left in a nutshell. This shitstain is just an honest one.

For Quasimodo

The case against the Border Patrol agents is beginning to fall apart.

Two Border Patrol agents who testified against two co-workers convicted of shooting a drug smuggler will be fired [and a third resigned] for changing their stories about events surrounding the shooting, ...

The agents were given immunity in exchange for their testimony despite changing their accounts of the incident several times.

At this point, I'm not going to say conclusively that the agents are innocent. However, the fact that they were put into general population, where they were then beaten, combined with the hokey testimony against them, is setting off every alarm in my head.

There's something fishy about the whole thing, starting with the fact that the two agents would be prosecuted for doing their damn job, i.e. stopping a drug smuggler from entering the country.

I'm willing to bet my paycheck that the two agents now sitting in jail are innocent, and the case against them is a bunch of made-up crap.

Can't post, wait, CAN post, wait, I HATE NEW BLOGGER!

So, I had to change over to the "New" Blogger today. It wouldn't give me a choice; either I switched, or I didn't post.

I hate blogger just for that. Every time I see something is "NEW! IMPROVED" I find that it is new, and not improved at all. In fact, half the time it's quite the opposite.

We'll see what happens.
