Bomb Plot Commentary...
...from Democratic Underpants, via Gateway Pundit. You MUST see the comment by someone called "flyarm". It will make your day. I promise.
Light blogging notice
I'm going to be helping different units this weekend during training, and I won't have computer access. So, don't expect too much from me this weekend.
In the meantime, we've got Tim, TVE, and an awsome blogroll!

Been reading BabyTrollBlog lately?
If not, why not? It's on our blogroll, after all.
In any case, for those who haven't been keeping up on Alger and Dolly, Alger has a piece up about the fauxtography flap as it's seen by the Left. In this case, he quotes Oliver Willis, although I've seen Willis' sentiments expressed on almost every Leftist website, if it's been brought up at all. The major thrust of the Left's arguments are, in a nutshell, "What's the big deal?"
Go read Alger's response to it. It's worth the time.

BWAAHAAHAAAA!
Via this grumpy old fart.
I don't think that the Howling Moonbats know just how much ammunition they've given the Republicans. They really don't know. And what's better, they've removed a liberal Democrat from office in order to further their little games. And they're gloating about it!
I think I might just enjoy this November.
My Give-a-Damn's Busted
The Dixie Chicks have had to cancel several shows due to lack of ticket sales.
Look at those cities I emphasised. If Natalie Maines had just kept her yap shut, those cities would have sold out in hours. Not days. Not weeks. Hours.
But no, 'ol Natalie had to open her big mouth, and when the fans, you know, the people who buy the CD's and buy the concert tickets, when the fans had the audacity to show their disapproval with her little overseas speech, the Dixie Chicks didn't say "Oops, sorry, we shouldn't have said that". No, they had to say "You ignorant hayseeds, what do YOU know?!"
And now they can't sell concert tickets in frigging Memphis.
I'm sure there are country music singers out there who don't support the war. I'm sure there are country music singers out there who voted for John Kerry. But I don't care, so long as they keep their politics to themselves and just sing. But badmouthing my President overseas during a time of war doesn't sit well with me, and it doesn't sit well with most if not all of the people who buy country music.
Too bad, Natalie. Enjoy Canada.
Several concerts on the Dixie Chicks' "Accidents & Accusations" tour have been canceled after slow ticket sales, but the group says it has replaced them with other dates.
Kansas City, Houston, St. Louis, Memphis and Knoxville are among 14 cities no longer on the original schedule released in May, according to a revised itinerary posted Thursday on the Dixie Chick's Web site.

Lieberman loses
And the downward spiral of the Democrat party continues.
What is the message here? There are quite a few messages, actually.
The Democrats apparently think that displaying a political opponent in blackface is perfectly OK.
The Democrats think that photoshopping your political opponent into a homosexual who's performing sexual acts on the President is also perfectly OK.
In fact, when it comes to gaining political power, anything goes for the Democrats. Standards? Morals? Decency? Who needs 'em, when you've got a primary to win!
The Democrats are the party of capitulation to terrorists.
The Democrats are the party of the Hard Left, the so-called "fringe" Left. But they're not the Fringe Left, they're in control of the Democrats and yanking that wheel harder to the Left than they have in recent years.
Every time the Democrats have been given a chance on the national level to prove that they can still field a candidate who's somewhat of a moderate, they've failed. In fact, every time the Democrats have been given a chance to prove that they are not the brainless, twiterpated asscannons that we say they are, they fail miserably! The only good thing you can say about the Democrats right now is that they didn't re-elect McKinney, but that's like saying "Well, we have to cut off both of your legs, but if you still had them your feet would be in great shape!" It's nice news, but compared to the damage the Democrats have done to themselves, it's too little, too late.
Whenever I get the chance, I'm going to pound on the Democrats as the party of surrender, the party of running away, the party of capitulation, the party of curling up into a ball and pretending that the world outside of our borders doesn't exist. Because that's what they've proven themselves to be.
Enjoy Lamont, Democrats. Because you're going to choke on him and candidates like him.
By the way, what is the Kos crowd now in politics? 1 for 20 or so?

Remember Jenin?
Yeah. Nothing says "line of dead corpses" like one of those supposed dead people sitting up. Resident Evil, anyone? Nah, me neither.
Look, can someone tell me why anyone trusts a single thing coming out of the Arab media again? Because as of this point, if I even see something resembling an Islamic name, I assume every word out of their mouth to be a lie, including the words "the", "and", "but", and "neoconzionistjewlovinginfidel".
As a side note, when did we get taken off of the KisP blogroll? Sondra! Don't abandon us!

Making the point YET AGAIN!
For anyone still laboring under the belief that the MSM is an honest, objective organization, I present to you this. There's an entire history of propaganda photos being used as "news" or "photojournalism".
Horseshit.
Jeff Goldstein breaks down a "news" release for you. Just go read it. The MSM is so completely ruined by the Leftist bias of the reporters, editors, and almost everyone associated with them that their "news" articles fairly drip with prejudice. I've taken a few beginner courses in journalism. There are standards that you have to use when referring to the people in the news stories. And just from my small intro into journalism I can pick almost any story about the Middle East apart. There are double standards everywhere. Now, if the "mistakes" that the MSM were admitting to happened for both sides of the conflict, then one could deduce that the editors were simply being a bit sloppy in their effort to get news out as quickly as possible.
But that's not what is happening, is it?
Every "mistake", every glitch, every altered photograph has been to the detriment of Israel, and the gain of the terrorists who are attacking them. Every time an "error" occurs, it demonizes Israel. There are no "errors" or "mistakes" or "accidental photoshop jobs" that put Hamas, Syria, Iran or Lebanon in a bad light. It is all against Israel.
That is not mistakes or errors folks. That is flat out and out bias, dripping out of "news" stories like pus out of a festering wound. Which in it's own way, perfectly symbolizes the MSM today.

Gosh, no kidding?
I mean, who woulda thunk that Islamist "photojournalists" would try to enhance their pictures? That might mean that they're..... BIASED or something!
Mark my words - this is just one "photojournalist" out of hundreds. I'm willing to bet my entire month's paycheck that there are other "photojournalists" doing the same damn thing.
