Then remembered that there is no mass this weekend, as the diocese has cancelled them. Said the Rosary instead.
This is just another way that the Latin Mass is superior to the Novus Ordo. We don't glad-hand around while Christ is on the alter. No shaking hands in the middle of the most important hour of the most important day of the week.
Off to clean the house more.

Diocese of Boise said, "No communion on tongue." I could just imagine Fr. Gordon saying, "Um, no!"
So we have a dispensation.
The thought of ever, ever having someone grappling for my hand during the Our Father makes me shudder.
The silence at a low Mass is so soothing.
Exactly. I don't like people enough to hold hands with them. I hold hands with my wife, and only my wife.
