Sixth, Democrats are ignoring a salient point about the coronavirus: it started in a country with socialized medicine (China) and is having its worst effects in two other countries with socialized medicine: Iran and Italy. There's a bright, flashing message in that that American leftists refuse to read.
If socialized medicine was so great, the coronavirus would have never gotten as bad as it is, and people wouldn't be freaking out right now.

Ask any veteran about government run health care. Those who are its biggest backers have never had to deal with it. Someone has to graduate last in the class from med school and they call that guy doctor just like the guy who graduated first. The difference is the latter works for Johns Hopkins, the former for the feds because no self respecting hospital is going to hire that guy.
I wonder, how could we get the average voter to experience Sick Call? Nothing says "government health care" like driving to the hospital when you're delirious, only to be told that you're five minutes late and you have to go drive to the TMC, and when you get to the TMC, you get chewed out for being late to THEIR sick call, and then you spend five hours in a waiting room while you run a 101+ degree fever.
I had a buddy who had kidney stones so bad that he couldn't walk. He crawled into a TMC, literally CRAWLED in, and was told that sick call hours were over and he needed to go to the hospital instead. Not "Hey, let's get you an ambulance", but "You need to go away now".
