I guess I'm still a kid at heart

The Air Force has been doing their thing lately, and every time one of those jets goes screaming overhead, I have to stop what I'm doing and look up.  It makes me smile every time.

I get the same feeling when I used to see a MITO Exercise

Here in Virginia Beach we have the Naval Air Station Oceana Master Jet Base, over the last 70 years it's been home to many awesome Navy jet fighters like the F4, EA6, F14,F16 there are just to many to name. It's the sound of freedom Baby!

Same here. Heck, I stuck a Jeep in a ditch years ago when a B-17 overflow me. Totally forgot I was driving.

Four decades of playing with airplanes plus my formative years growing up on Air Force bases and I STILL look up every damn time. Doesn't matter if it's the neighbor's Cub or the Lear 45 I look at every day...I still watch.

Lived a few miles from NAS El Centro for years, The Blue Angeles winter training base. Can't count the times seeing them practice. Everything the Navy and Marines have was in the pattern and of course I had to look.
Still look whether its props or jets and always have and always will.
