Heard a whine from the area of the fuel pump yesterday morning. The noise had stopped by the time I got home. I'm either dealing with a little bit of particulate in the fuel, which would cause a whine, or I'm dealing with a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
Got a service manual ordered, it'll be here sometime next week. Until then, not much I can do except keep listening for the problem if it pops up again.
The more I get into motorcycles, the more I learn how to tear them apart and put them back together. Speaking of that, I still have to order the oil for the maintenance.
I'm going to be busy for a while.
