Watch what folks DO, not what they SAY.

Kinda like in basketball.  Back when I was a "yout", I was a pretty decent defender.  Sucked at shooting the ball, but could keep people away from the paint like nobody's business.  Because I never watched the hands, or the eyes of the guy with the ball.  I watched his hips.

They can head fake all day long.  They can wave their hands around like a mime if they wish.  When their hips started to turn, I knew they were moving and what direction, and I kept on them like a tick on a dog.

So what's this about?  How about this:  February's gun sales were enough to arm every police officer and Soldier in the USA.  (They're using "Soldier" as a catch-all phrase, what they're trying to say is "every single military member of every branch)

It is not only possible, but probably, that the total number of gun sales in February exceeded three million.
According to the Department of Defense, there are 2,083,100 military service personnel, including active duty, Guard, and Reserve units. According the FBI’s most recent (2014) data, there are 627,949 sworn law enforcement officers, for a total of just over 2.7 million military and sworn police personnel in the United States today.

Folks ain't buying these guns because they feel all comfy and safe with the direction this country is headed.  They're buying them because they think that sometime real soon, someone's going to attempt to stop them from buying any more.

Get ammo too, folks.

Romney went after Trump

It's almost as if the GOP establishment is waving a huge flag screaming "VOTE FOR TRUMP!  VOTE FOR TRUMP!  LET US ROLL OUT OUR FAILURES TO MAKE YOU VOTE FOR TRUMP!"

I mean really, at what point can we safely tell the original inventor of Obamacare to go back to Salt Lake City or where ever he wants to go and shut the hell up?

Super Tuesday

I didn't get the delegate count, but Trump came out ahead.

At this point, if Marco Rubio doesn't drop out and lend his support to Cruz, Trump is the nominee.  Cruz still has a chance to win it, but not with the establishment eating up votes that will ultimately be wasted.

Went to get some pizza

Found a non-chain place, ordered, and watched the news while we waited on our food to get there.

CNN had Paul Begala, Van Jones, and Uncle Bad-Touch David Axelrod as "commentators".

So, that's one Clinton hack, one Obama hack, and one outright commie who got kicked out of the Obama administration for being too open about his Marxism.

Yeah.  And they wonder why their viewership is dropping.  Actually, they don't wonder at all, they just assume they're too awesome for us peons to appreciate.

Damned Marxist douche-nozzles.

Super Tuesday

Folks, if you're voting today, I want to just make one point:  There's only one guy in the race who has fought against both the Democrat and Republican establishments.  One guy who's actually fought for the Constitutional principals that everyone claims to hold.

Ted Cruz.

While anyone on our side would be better than the clown show the DNC is putting forth, Ted Cruz is the first place candidate.  Everybody else is...  well, just a bit less.

Vote Cruz.  Please.

UPDATE:  Ace agrees with me.  Or I agree with him, since I doubt he even knows who I am.  Take your pick.  We're in agreement.

Ragin' Dave's Quote of the Day, Remnant Edition

From Ann Barnhardt's article in the Remnant newspaper:

Good will always prevail, but there is no limit to the amount of suffering that will be required for that victory to occur. If men stand up early on, the suffering will be minimized because it will be spread over many people. The worst that might happen is that some folks go to bed scared for a while, but widespread bravery will allow good to prevail without much suffering. If, however, there is a decided lack of courage displayed by a large group or society early on in an advance by the powers of evil, that aggregated courage requirement will be borne by a relative few at a later time. The longer this goes on, the worse it will be for the few who have to bear the weight of the cowardice of the broad society.

We're in for some pain, folks.

Got the grill and smoker set up yesterday

Smoked four racks of ribs, and had dinner with the new neighbors.  Had plenty of left-overs, and they're in a crock pot with some BBQ sauce slowly simmering and turning into tonights dinner.

The house I'm renting is attached to a lot so big that I can set up an archery range.  Which I'll be doing later this Spring.

I'm going to like this place.
