On your ride, windshield or fairing? And why?
My bike is currently unadorned. After riding about 270 miles on Friday with nothing to block the wind, I've decided to buy some sort of windscreen/shield/fairing and mount it. My old bike had a police style touring windshield, but this bike seems to call for something different.
Your opinions, please.

Know a few retired motor officers who still ride. Most use the smaller sport windshield if they are on a lighter cruiser. The ones with full-dress HD have the bigger windshields. Don't know any who do face to wind except one CR rider, and we buried him last summer.
I'm looking at either a sportshield or some sort of fairing. This whole face to wind thing is great if you're just tooling around town, but for 270 miles it beats the hell out of you.
